I've become a big fan of Dave Arcari in a very short time and this his latest offering hasn't let me down.
Dave Arcari plays 'the lone blues singer/steel guitarist' style of blues music but for the twenty first century. This is not the safe warm and fuzzy Seasick Steve kind of blues. This is blues with passion and sometimes agression.

Got Me Electric

You really need to see Dave Arcari's live performance to truly appreciate the man & his music ... his stage presence is kinda like Keith-Moon-meets-Ozzy-Osbourne, and his infectious enthusiasm soon spreads addictively throughout his audience ... I have never seen National "steel" guitars played so aggressively, and it is testament to their build quality that they are still in one piece after the thrashing they get from Dave's taped-on picks.

This is blues from the Clyde Delta, bare-knuckle streetfight blues that takes no prisoners; this is blues that lifts you off your feet and smashes you against the wall; this is blues played and sang by a guy who feels the music in his bones and who is not afraid to express those feelings totally and passionately.

Blues music is Blind Blake, blues music is Hubert Sumlin, blues music is Muddy Waters, blues music is Jimi Hendrix, blues music is early Elvis, blues music is Rory Gallagher ... the list goes on but the point is that blues encompasses many forms - there is a kaleidoscope of blues colours out there, and they should all be embraced and nurtured to keep the blues alive for forthcoming generations.

Enter Dave Arcari, a musician who greatly admires the origins of blues and who readily pays homage to the old bluesmen who have so enriched our lives, but who also wants to show us his own particular brand of the genre which results in adrenalin-fuelled blues which can be enjoyed both by traditionalists and also by a new generation who desperately seek salvation outside of the bland musical desert that surrounds us.
