I bought this because of the price and it worked well. I should have realized that the mount wouldn't restrict the camera from rotating about the pole. I had some issues with this when I was skiing, but would realize that the camera would rotate and would have to fix it (just rotate the pole). Overall, the product did what I needed, but I wished I would have purchased a more rigid, locking pole extension.

Works great for steady shots
Very Portable
Easy to Use
Comes with the Go-Pro Tripod mount

Wrist strap isn't very large
Doesn't lock and not rotate
Flexible when fully extended

I used it for snowboarding... ONE time.

It's a fine product if you're not doing anything active with a gopro...but if you attach a camera to it, and extend the handle, the pole gets so loose that the gopro just flops over

if you're recording in front of yourself, it's fine, you can just flip the footage when you import... but if you want to take video of yourself you're going to have this pole in the middle of your shot

I'd recommend spending the extra 10-15 bucks and getting a handle that locks at the joints.
HASH(0x9109412c) out of 5 stars Absolutely Terrible 16 Aug. 2014

As exited as we were to get a monopod for our new camera, we were disappointed at the terrible quality of this monopod. It cant even be called one. We took it out of the box and the only packing was a plastic bag. We picked it up it felt to light for its max hight. We put the camera on and it was looking at the floor. No matter how much we tightened it it would always end up looking at the floor. We requested the return label the same day. Spend 7 dollars more and get a quality monopod.

This extender handheld device for my Gopro is perfect! In the past, I've mounted my Gopro on a ski pole. This is much more convenient, since it retracts into a small package and is easily carried in the pocket of my ski jacket. It extends out quite far and will be a ton of fun to use.
