Spike Milligan wrote some brilliant scripts for the classic radio comedy, the Goon Show. While the 4 half hour programmes on this double CD are worth listening to, they are not some of the best that are available. The Junk Affair is very aptly named and Ten Snowballs that shook the World, is not much better. Spike was under a lot of pressure to produce scripts for this long running show, and with these episodes, it shows.

To be honest you have to have grown up listening to the goons on the radio or you maybe have to be slightly mad if you find them and enjoy the crazy humour but they are well worth a listen
