Kids were after 2 extra controllers so they could play 4 player games. Had priced them up in the shops and they were all ridiculously expensive so decided to try these. Was a little apprehensive having read reviews as whilst most were good some were very bad but decided to risk it. They arrived very quickly and were well packaged. No instructions were provided and at first I thought they were a bad buy as they didn't seem to connect with the Wii but after checking online how to sync them and following instructions we got both going. We have found them temperamental at times and not always as responsive as the 'proper' remotes but by and large they do work and for the price I would say they are definitely worth buying as extras although if I wanted them as my main remotes I would probably bite the bullet and pay full price for official ones. Overall I am pretty happy.
Okay, it's not the official one, which I hardly expected for its price. the plastic is a little more creamy as opposed to white but that's no problem to the way it works. It works perfectly and syncing it was the same as the official one. the buttons are the same and also the layout. The remote has a little rattle when you shake it but this effect the way it works. the Wii reads it just as well as the official and the Wii chuck that comes with it isn't any different to the official one. Overall a real bargain!
At a much lower price than any others I've seen, I did not expect miracles. However, the remote works very well, and when guiding the hand (cursor) around the screen, it's much smoother than the original Wii one, which jumps around the screen and is hard to control. Everything else seems pretty much the same. Only small problem, the 'A' button sticks down occasionally if you don't press it quite straight. This isn't important, as it's not used when playing the games we have, only during setting up. As only for occasional use the quality and price suit me perfectly!
This product is a Wii controller. The plastic outside is much the same whoever you buy from, but the gubbins inside is what enables you to make it talk to your TV and Wii platform. This can vary a lot, so shop carefully. This is my final letter to Memory Capital, who by now I have corresponded with more than with my own parents.
Dear Shane, Two were mailed back to you in the same envelope. We will now consider this correspondence closed and leave negative feedback. To conclude. We ordered two Wii controllers before Xmas. Both failed. We tried your advice. They still failed. You replaced one. The replacement worked. We requested a replacement for the second. We then sent both originals back together - we had no reason to keep them as they were lousy. It is now March and you are denying receipt, though if you got one, you got both. Do you really think we would have kept on asking for a replacement for 3 months if we hadn't been owed one? It isn't like your Wii controllers are good or usually work or anything. (One out of 3 ain't good) If I was going to pester a company for a freebie, I'd pester someone who sold good stuff. We only pestered you because we paid you money, and you still owe us one working Wii controller. I would have given up on you weeks ago, but my husband has been dealing with the correspondence and he seriously believed you might have made an honest error. was delivered very quickly, very well packaged. Having never used a WII console before, I had to contact the company to find out how to get the controller to work with the console. I had a quick response to my query and found out that all you have to do is press the 'sync' button on the controller (located under the battery cover) and press the 'sync' button on the console at the same time. This makes the controller work to enable it to be used with your console. Once I had sorted this, all was great and have had no further problems. Thanks. would recommend this item as was good value for money.
I was a little worried after reading some reviews but I needn't have been concerned. I unpacked, paired with my Wii and commenced playing tennis and boxing with my partner. It comes complete with nunchuck and rubber case for the controller but I couldn't find a wrist strap. It worked absolutely fine and for the money I paid, I am very happy.
This item is good for the price. The buttons a a little more clicky than the official Wii remotes but this may be due to the fact this is new. Connects to official Wii's perfectly but it took a few tries to initially connect it to my PC but after that it connects first try. I would by again if i need another.
Although these both take about a minute to sync to my Bluetooth dongle, once they're connected they both work like a charm! My sister and I had a great time playing Mario Kart Wii on Dolphin with them, as well as New Super Mario Bros Wii :D They correctly send all the proper signals such as tilt and shake actions, so all I need now is for the Sensor Bar to arrive to make use of the IR signals they are sending out! We used candles in the meantime which work just as well!
