It's the right product as stated. I wonder how to clean it though? I prefer the look of the phone without a case but I bought it to protect the phone. However, I have no idea how to clean it as I am cleaning things more due to the covid and it might not be easy to clean so I am a little put off using it outside as I can't clean it when I get home which somewhat defeats the protective properties of the case if you can't use it under certain conditions. I never thought this one through, but they do have a message printed inside the box; 'for help and cleaning tips (go to and it tells you which place to go online to find out)' so hopefully cleaning is easy enough but I am not sure what this will do to the case if you do clean it frequently. I gave four stars on value for money as I think all phone cases are over-priced and should be included with the phones

Robust case, room for screen protector if you choose.
Perfect fit & cutouts for camera & fingerprint reader.

Nothing beats an official phone case. I was a bit hesitant to drop a cool 30 quid on one of these but I hadn't really been happy with the other cases I've used on my Pixel 3a.

I am happy to report it is totally worth the money. The case fits into the phone perfectly, and the fibre lined inside is a nice touch. I don't tend to use harder cases like this but I am so pleased with this one. The fabric feels incredibly high quality, and feels amazing in the hand. I want all my future phone cases to be like this one! Also I love the orange power button, really helps make this case stand.

If I had to find something negative, I'm a little worried due to the top and bottom of the phone being largely unprotected, but the way the case is padded on the corners makes me think that this won't be a problem if I drop the phone.

Stylish Cover But Expensive

This is a really stylish cover for the Pixel 3a XL. The grey crosshatch design looks really nice and in contrast to other reviews, I don't find the case to be slippy at all. The fingerprint scanner is easy to reach and doesn't become obscures by the case, and neither do the charge point and audio jack.

The case has held up really well in the 6 months since I bought it and shows no signs of breaking/cracking at all. Sadly though, the price point is far too high for what you're actually getting.

If you have money to spare then by all means get this. If not, then you'll be disappointed.

Looks nice. Feels okay in the hand, but not what I was expecting. The images had me expecting something quite soft and cushioned like a gel case. But no, it's made of rigid, brittle-feeling plastic much like any cheap phone case you could get out of a pound shop, with the fabric coating feeling a lot thinner and rougher than it looks. It does however provide a reassuring grip compared to the frankly unbearable slippery glossy plastic the phone itself is made of. The power & volume buttons retain a nice responsive click. This is only going to provide limited protection from accidental drops, and I'm not convinced of its overall durability. When I removed the case (gently) to clean the back of my phone, I heard it cracking. Thankfully this doesn't seem to have caused any noticeable damage, but I won't be removing it again if I can help it.

Ordered in "seascape", which is blue. Case fits snuggly to phone and the fabric provides a good surface to grip. For me better than the phone itself which I feel is just about to slip from my hand. However, you are paying a premium for "Google" branding - which I have done. I'm not sure the case would be good value at half the price. Also not sure how much protection it does afford if I do drop it (not planning to find out either!) There does not appear to be any shock absorbing material built into the case, so shock transmitted directly to phone. Bumps and scrapes should be ok though.
