First, this is really hard to fit. Having cleaned the windows very carefully I followed the instructions exactly. Whilst it is possible to remove the air bubbles, there is no hiding the fact that the film is there, you get a mottling effect on the view through the window. It is also almost impossible to cut the film accurately (on UPVC windows) and you inevitably end up with some misscuts where there is a sliver of brighter window showing through.
So, once you have them fitted, is it any good?
NO. The room is darker - I expected that.
You can certainly see in from outside - I wasn't worried about that.
BUT - it turned my window into a radiator, I could not believe the amount of heat radiating off the window.
I have removed the film and thrown it away
