Product Description

Churtons history and analysis of the Rosicrucian age is the finest yet to appear in print. I urge readers not to hesitate: buy it, read it. -- Michael Baigent, Freemasonry Today, October 2002

This is a good book. If you think Freemasonry goes beyond a grouping of like-minded individuals then this book should be on your library shelf. -- The Square, December 2002

Format: Paperback
At last, a work which places Freemasonry within it's real historical context. The author has a wonderful way making this exciting while avoiding the fantastic and the unbelievable. His references are always cited if you want to check on you own. The sections on Rosicrucianism and Elias Ashmole are particularly exciting because the author brings to the fore new and important material on both of these subjects.
