Unfortunately the adapter and the head of the HDMI lead combined would not fit into the slot on the back of my monitor as the stand is in the way and doesn't allow enough room. Rendering this a slightly redundant purchase.
My own fault, not the fault of the seller. But it's just something to think about before purchasing.
I use this to connect a HDMI cable between my monitor and graphics card to replace a wobbly mini HDMI to HDMI adapter. This provides a very firm fit, not just by screwing to the card but also for the HDMI cable. Item works perfectly.
The seller is very helpful and reliable. After leaving a review stating that my item did not arrive they promptly contacted me by email and sent out a replacement.
arrived promptly, works great. its a bit bulky, so be careful if you don't have a lot of space behind your monitor/tv but for the price you can't go wrong, i can't imagine there is anything better on the market at the minute.
From the 2 adapters that I've received - 1 didn't simply work, the second one was creating crazy video artifacts. I get that usually you get what you pay for but in this case the product is simply trash.
