I own many watches and almost all of them are premium brands. I am one of those people who feels naked if not wearing a watch on my wrist. Therefore resulting in worn out straps and bracelets. Recently I had to fork out £800 to repair one of my watches which was not nice. That is when I decided to look for a "everyday" watch which did not cost a lot and looked nice. I have to say that I had not heard of this brand and I had never owned a quartz watch either. I bought this watch following my instinct and I can confirm with pleasure that this watch is more beautiful to wear and hold than it looks in the picture. The build quality is a very good and considering this a professional divers watch I was amazed at the price these are going for. I wear it all the time now and I have received many compliments on the watch from my friends. However please bear in mind that this is a large watch and may not be suitable to people with thin wrists. The rubber strap is comfortable and has grooves underneath for ventilation leaving the wrist dry at al times. The contrasting yellow strip on the watch is very eye catching. The watch comes in a very presentable box.

Finally, I would like to say that there is nothing about this watch that looks or feels cheap. So please do not hesitate to buy this product.

First of all i can only agree with the other reviews on these Golana watches, the quality of craft is real good for the price.

The first impression I got when i opened the box.. Holy diver! its BIG!!
You know when you walk down a market street where they sell those massive bling bling watches, thats how big it fealt.
Well when you whare a Seiko watch that meassure 37mm across the bonnet, for almost ten years a 44mm bonnet in your hand have that effect on you. It still is a big watch though

I was looking for a watch I could wear at work (carpenter), I needed something sturdy, So I serched for dive watches and found this one, loved the looks so much i ordered it straight away.

Anyhow when i first held it i realized, this huge flat glass will collect more scratches then a aeroplane crash landing, so I ran in to my friend in the neighbouring dive shop to get one of those protecting bonnet straps of rubber or simular. He's first impression, Oh man! you just got your self a serious dive watch.

I had this big fassination with dive watches when i was a kid, you can bring them down 200meters under sea level and that 15min bezel you can adjust to keep track of your dive time. cool... When i checked this one out on Amazon I thought the "15min mark" was fake, stuck to one spot. I thought the crown on the left side allso was fake and stuck.
Obviously my fassination with dive watches didnt strech to the proffesional stuff becouse on this one as well as all proper quality dive watches you actually use that left crown to adjust that "15min bezel" inside.
I think my friend the diver knows what he's talking about, he runs a dive shop after all.

This watch needs a serious strap redesign.

Underneath the edge of the strap where it interfaces with the edge of the watch is a ridge which is intended to keep the strap edges flush with the top and bottom edges of the watch. These don't work very well resulting in one of them popping out, meaning the watch sits lob-sidedly on your wrist until you notice...

The end of the strap at the buckle end has just let go on one side after only having worn the watch for a couple of weeks, due to a badly placed seam in the rubber at the stress point where the buckle goes through the strap.

I intend to send this watch back and get a refund, if the quality of the watch is as bad as the strap I fully expect that to give up the ghost after not very long as well.
