The watch - self-winding. The wearer - self-assured. Mechanical watches are for people who know the difference, people who are dedicated to quality and people who love watches. Welcome to the Golana Advanced Pro Swiss watch range.
Inspired by the world of motor sports, with fluid lines and aerodynamic curves, the Golana AD200 automatic range is built for speed and dynamism, turbo-boosted with its own self-winding functionality - making this the most high-octane premium watch. The tachymeter, solid stainless steel casing and anti-reflective sapphire crystal face reflect its heritage in the timeless tradition of motor racing, while the Swiss ETA automatic chronograph movement and water resistance to 10 ATM/BAR (100 meters) attests to our history of fine Swiss engineering.

Top customer reviews
The presentation box and papers was nothing special but the watch certainly was. My first impression was how solid and chunky it is. The bracelet is very well made, very solid and sturdy. This is quite a heavy watch and gives the feeling of real quality. The overall looks are similar to a Omega Speed master and Tag Carrera.
The size is just right, 42mm dial, not too big and not too small. The dial is beautifully detailed with tiny red markers on 3 of the hands. The carbon weave dial looks impressive and changes appearance in different light.
The back of the watch has a glass back which reveals the ETA 7750 movement. This is beautifully decorated with engine turning on the plates and stripes on the rotor. This movement is used in many very expensive watches such as IWC, Chronoswiss, Breitling, Panerai to name just a few, so to have this sort of quality for such an excellent price is a real bargain.
If you are thinking of buy this watch I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. This is definitely the best value for money Swiss watch I have seen anywhere.
Anyway grump over, the watch appears well finished with good lume.
However, the packaging is minimal for a claimed four figure RRP - generic box, no instruction manual or warranty card; but if you've bought direct from Amazon, the guarantee is good for two years.
The watch is essentially a (very) chunky Tag Carrera style.
The bracelet is okay but really shouts "budget" with pin links rather than screwed.
The movement is a genuine Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 which is great (these actually cost more than the 324 purchase price of the watch).
Main value would be with the movement (more than 50%) and final assembly should be in Switzerland to qualify for the "Swiss Made" label - however I would suspect that the watch is Chinese in the main. Not necessarily a disaster as it appears to be well made, but don't be fooled into thinking that this has been lovingly crafted in the Swiss Alps...
Worth noting that the Golana name is currently owned by a Belgium import company so there is no connection with the short-lived husband and wife team from the 1950s who actually did manufacture in Switzerland.
Despite all this, I would suggest that this is a good sub-1000 pound watch, so at 324 it's great value and recommended. Enjoy!
Im actually impressed with how accurate it is for an automatic .
dont think the photo's here do it justice (nip over to Amazon.com US site for better pics)
I didn't get instructions either but they can be downloaded from the Golana.eu website ,
The one featured on the website is the leather strapped model which is £1560 here , the metal strap is very well well made and looks smart .
Can be available with an extra discount if you sign up to amazon's fashion updates , having paid £259 for this i think i got a cracking deal , as others have said you cant buy the movement used on its own anywhere near this price and the same movement in an Omega case is £2540 (admittedly they fit their own escapement) or in a Tag Hauger case is over £3k
First impressions where how solid the watch is. Where as some high end manufacturers concentrate on weight saving materials it is not the case here. Some people may not like this but for me solid and heavy is good, like my Omega Speedmaster. Also impressed that it is not let down like many similar watches with a cheap bracelet.
So looks good, feels good and great value for money. My only complaint is that the watch is a little fast but still within tolerances for an automatic watch.
The quality seems to be very comparable to my Tag Carrera, and it uses essentially the same mechanism. Its only just arrived but thus far I cannot fault it. The packaging as other reviews have mentioned is nothing special and there were no instructions, but hey, I can work out how to use a watch. Buy one when they are available, brilliant value for money.
The watch is precise and of a solid manufactured type.
At the heart of this watch is the trusted Valjoux 7750 movement, used in so many watches including the Tag Heuer Carerra which this watch resembles ever such a lot, I bought the steel bracelet version first and have now bought the rubber strap version too, that's how much I like these and for the price, daft not to!
You get a lot of watch for the cost, don't judge the presentation box, you don't wear that, so if you want something that's a real eyecatcher add to your basket now.
That's all there is to say.
