Maddy and Drew seem the perfect couple except he's married to a very understanding wife until you read on, I was thoroughly absorbed with the village life, the ups and downs, the twists and turns and will definitely be reading the next instalment.
This was written a while ago but it doesn't seem like it when you read it, so is testament to the author that this still feels fresh and new.
I found her, totally by chance, in the library about 10 years ago, and have read everything she has written - and have never, ever, been disappointed. Her English is superb, never a grammatical error, and that makes a lot of difference to me, I am fanatic about good English.
The storyline is very good and you just have your own image of what Drew looks like (drool.....)
Christina Jones is my favourite author, I have all her books. Her books are all set in the rural countryside which makes you wish you lived there yourself, the way she describes the characters, the settings etc gives you a clear picture in your own mind and theres always a little bit of magic and hocus pocus going on.
They are funny, enjoyable and a great read.

Anything by Christina gets my vote. Read this in paperback in the days before Amazon and Ebooks and reviewing. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Jane Risdon
An ok read but not as good as some of the authors other books. Far fetched chick lit, you know the ending before you've even started reading but passes the time! Glad it was free.Published 12 months ago by Dmk
This was a love story with a difference combining village life with all its secrets and keeping the end a mystery which was a little obvious. Read morePublished 13 months ago by Bee em
The promise of a fun story was there, the problem was that the author didn't know whether she liked her own characters! Read morePublished 14 months ago by Helen Cook
