I agree with everybody else. I got this book free with a magazine a few years ago and re-read every couple of months. I have to say it's one of my faves. The fact that Maddy isn't a size 8 makes the book all the more enjoyable. I also enjoyed 'jumping to conclusions' because you get to go back and see how Maddy is doing a year or so down the line. The Charcters become like friends and reading 'jumping' is like visiting old friends you've lost contact with. Excellent. More Christina Jones Please!

I got this book free a couple of years ago from a magazine and have re-read it so many time thats fallen to bits. The humour in this book is great and the characters are so well written you feel as if you have met them in person. After reading i found other books by jones and found them enthralling also. Definitly worth a read by anyone who loves to laugh and cry whilst reading one book.

Took me a couple of chapters to get into this, and as I write this I wonder why as after that I couldn't put it down and read this in a couple of days.
Maddy and Drew seem the perfect couple except he's married to a very understanding wife until you read on, I was thoroughly absorbed with the village life, the ups and downs, the twists and turns and will definitely be reading the next instalment.
This was written a while ago but it doesn't seem like it when you read it, so is testament to the author that this still feels fresh and new.

All I am going to say is, READ ALL OF THEM. Christina Jones is one of the best writers I have ever read - her books are funny, sad, amusing, all at the same time. You laugh, you cry, you empathise.
I found her, totally by chance, in the library about 10 years ago, and have read everything she has written - and have never, ever, been disappointed. Her English is superb, never a grammatical error, and that makes a lot of difference to me, I am fanatic about good English.
READ THEM.

Set in Milton St John village and the antics of the racing world. Maddy is single again then Drew arrives sparks fly but all is not as it appears. You get to know some of the residents and what goes on here. Having read Tickled Pink this does not dissapoint. Good character development like the style of writing.

This is set in the world of horse racing, jockeys and trainers, but the reader doesn't have to be familiar with this world to appreciate the story. Rather too many misunderstandings and coincidences for it to be credible, but enjoyable enough.

I read these backwards, so just finished this title. I love this story of Maddy and Drew. Jones is a good writer - tight dialogue, believeable situations, real characters. She has the flavor of Jennifer Crusie (without the sex) and Katie Fforde, two other strong writers of contemporary romances. There's a dash of Dick Francis, too. I can't wait to read more - I'm a librarian and am recommending that we go back and purchase as many as possible for our patrons.

I have read this book about 6 or 7 times and never get fed up of it, it's brilliant.
The storyline is very good and you just have your own image of what Drew looks like (drool.....)
Christina Jones is my favourite author, I have all her books. Her books are all set in the rural countryside which makes you wish you lived there yourself, the way she describes the characters, the settings etc gives you a clear picture in your own mind and theres always a little bit of magic and hocus pocus going on.
They are funny, enjoyable and a great read.
