"Going Back to Texas" is an excellent listening blues CD with Bob Kirkpatrick on lead Guitar and Vocals. This is definitely Louisiana Mississippi River Delta blues. Bob Kirkpatrick, almost 71 now in 2005, had a natural inclination for the blues at a very early age. Bob said "I actually began playin the blues on the screen door springs". He says his first Guitar was an acoustic 'Sears and Roebuck'. He had 6 uncles and a dad that all played guitar and an aunt that played Piano. It was all religion in The Church of God in Christ and blues music was not allowed. Bob says "I used to sneak a listen when I could, juke box, juke joint or radio; when I heard '3 O'Clock Blues' by B.B. King, I knew I just had to play the blues". Thank God must be our reply. This is strongly recommended listening music.
