This children's book is a fantastic introduction to the night sky. The beautiful illustrations and subtle but detailed account of our galaxy, woven into an endearing story about a Gargoyle and a Pigeon, make it an absolute pleasure to read. It is written in a beautifully poetic way, that helps you to remember the facts that are written within the pages, and the illustrations are some of the nicest I've seen in a children's book. My daughter loved it! The questions and glossary pages at the back, also bring further delight and learning for children of any age. It certainly taught me a thing or two, and I would recommend it for any child who has a fascination with the night sky, or just wants a fun but informative read. An absolute delight!
