This is the seventh book in the Goddess Summoning Series and I have got to say that unfortunately if wasn't as good as the others. This one tells the tale of Camelot with our heroine Isabel being transported back into the past and falling for King Arthur. Although not as good as the other books in the series I did still enjoy it however I was a little bit disappointed as other reviewers appear to be with the fact that the story seems to have been done before. I would still recommend the Goddess Summoning Series however not so much this book. My favourite is still by far Goddess of Spring. Hopefully the next Goddess Summoning book (if one is brought out) will get back to the normal brilliant story lines that the other books had. If you like the series though it is still worth a read.

2. Goddess of Spring: A Goddess Summoning Novel (Goddess Summoning Series)
3. Goddess of Light: A Goddess Summoning Novel (Goddess Summoning Series)
4. Goddess of the Rose: A Goddess Summoning Novel (Goddess Summoning Series)
5. Goddess of Love: A Goddess Summoning Novel (Goddess Summoning Series)

To me this is one of the best book by PC Cast. I am a lover of Mythology and this book kept me turning the pages. If you are a fan of Mythology, this book is definitely for you.

I eenjoyed this book from beginning to end and intend to read the rest of the books in this series.

PC Cast always has me laughing out loud and then sobbing into my pillow!! She is an amazing writer. I have read all of her books now except Goddess of Troy. If you like a good laugh with a book that is almost impossible to put down, you always want "just one more page!" and never get to sleep until an hour after you'd planned because you don't want to put it down, then PC Cast is for you. They are light hearted, romantic, sexy (never vulgar), funny, heart wrenching. They are always over way too fast. I hope she writes many many more. I can't wait for her next books to arrive on the shelves.

It was bleeding awful.
I like some of PC Cast's books, because they're just silly fun and have made my way through the goddess series hoping to find some of the good storytelling I liked in the divine books, but these were just not as good (with the possible exception of Goddess of the Spring), and none were worse than this one.
For a feminist writer, she apparently thinks all women were complete morons until the invention of the shopping channel, but not to worry because the goddesses are there to zap 21st century women back to resolve everyone's issues with TV references that no one gets because they're living in the past.
She makes the goddess and main character speak in really terrible laboured rhymes to each other for no apparent reason. The main character's best friends are actually called Tom, Dick and Harry.
Quinevere has no personality, just decides to be bezzie mates or mortal enemies depending on the weather. Arthur is incapable of running a meeting, let alone a kingdom. Despite the fact that women are supposedly terribly oppressed and taken for granted, the men all just happily accept being shouted at by a strange woman who decides to reorganise the castle she's visiting as a guest.
You can defeat an oncoming army by leaving out a picnic for them. Mordred's daddy issues can be immediately resolved by being beaten up by dad's new girlfriend.
The whole thing is moronic, lazy and just plain weird in places. I liked PC Cast before I started reading these books but the quality just declined and declined over this series, from the first couple, which were actually pretty good, to the awfulness of Troy and then this absolute wreck. She left out any potential for real conflict, painted over all the issues she did bring up with the most unrealistic solutions, and then ripped off the ending of one of her other books.

The plot is good, characters lovely but some of the dialog is sometime caring worthy and some of the ideas for the time were strange but in the long run made sense most of the time.
Over all a lovely read will be reading it again and yes doesn't beat goddess of sea or troy.

I dont even know how to tell you how disappointed i am with this book.... i am not going to give away the ending (i hope) by saying this but the ending of this book absolutly distroyed this book for me! i wanted to throw it across the room in disgust! not only has she done this ending in another one of her books before but she didnt even make the ending as satisfing as before and i felt saddened for one of the main characters! i was fully prepared to give this book at least 4 stars until the very last chapter! the story line moves well enough.. not much action or any of that happens but this book is very much a love story which i enjoyed very much and i found myself in love with all the main characters... i can not go into why i hated the ending so much without gving it away and i hate it when people do that but this is the reason it was reduced to one star and if i could have i would giveen it none... so i will just say that if you are going to buy this book read up till the second last chapter then put it away and do not look at the ending to this book!
At this point all i can say is i am sick of P.c Cast and will probably never pick up one of her books again as it has been a while since i finshed a book of hers and left it saying "yes that was good"!
some may think i am being too hard on this book but i would say to you to avoid this book at all costs! maybe even aviod P.c cast at all costs!
