Going without is typical when you are on a gluten-free diet. BUT this cookery book has such interesting recipes for starters, soups, pasta & grain dishes, meat, poultry & fish, plus that area that is so difficult - brilliant recipes for bread, pastry & cakes with special help on flour mixes that suit specific recipes.
It also gives a nutritional breakdown for each recipe, which is very helpful & advises how to eat healthily when you have to avoid gluten.
If you bought one cookery book for gluten-free eating, this would be the one, as it is soooo comprehensive & attractively set out. Love it & it is well used!

I was bought this as a Christmas present and use it all the time. There are lots of very good meal ideas. The best section has to be the baking recipes. On a gluten-free diet it is difficult to find nice cake and pudding recipes that actually work, and this is by far the best collection I have ever found. The good thing is that lots of the base ingredients are the same across the baking recipes so you don't have to buy loads of ingredients for each different recipe.

Very highly recommended!

I bought this book as a present for my step-son but before I gave it to him I made him a fruit cake using one of the recipes from the book. It was great and so nice to find recipes which exclude gluten but still taste nice.

We are big pasta eaters in this house, I married Italian after all. I saw the recipe for mushroom and ham pasta and couldn't resist. The hubby gave it the ok too. I'm glad he did too, it is not anything I have had before and was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious!
It was easy to make, a lot easier than I thought. The instructions are so clear and easy to use. Plus there is little tips they gave to make it a little better. For instance, this dish had me cut up mushrooms but also grate them into the pan when cooking. That was a technique I was unfamiliar with, but am going to continue with in the future. It gives more flavor when grated.
I am so happy with this book and cannot wait to try another recipe. Banoffee Pie, to be exact. I think lots of you would love this book too, so be sure to get a copy!
