About the Author
The BCS Glossary has been compiled by an expert panel from the British Computer Society, many members of which are teachers or former teachers. In creating this glossary, they have drawn heavily upon their many years of experience in the education sector, as well as their detailed knowledge of computing. The resulting definitions and explanations provided in this 12th edition of the Glossary are clear, concise and easily understood, and will be of tremendous use to all students learning with or about computers, including GCSE, A-level, ECDL and Further Education.

If you need a serious quick reference for A-level and beyond, buy this book.
The attention to detail, referenced in explicit terms, guides the reader through each themed section explaining not only the subject area, but with an explanation of the 'Jargon' that has to be mentioned to be understood.
'Computer Speak' can be so in depth from an expert that the end user is overwhelmed however, the 'Jargon' in this Glossary is written in a way that accompanies the detailed explanation and references.
This is an essential reference to the ICT curriculum and I would highly recommend it.
