..".the self-titled book will survey Luchford's body of work, much of which captures both dreamy darkness and a spontaneous edge." -"Wall Street Journal Magazine
"
"Luchford's self-designed monograph features Polaroids, prints, and other visual memora-bilia, providing a rare glimpse into a lensman's point of view." "-Elle"
"It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words and as in the case of photographer Glen Luchford, this renders him highly effusive in both the visual and verbal languages. In his new book "Pictorialism," Glen Luchford and Bella Freud's words are woven through a series of images tackling an array of subjects along memory lane." -"Models.com"
"Glen Luchford is a true fashion photographer's photographer. His influential and imaginative style reinvigorated fashion photography in the 1990′s and 2000′s. "Glen Luchford: Pictorialism" is an elegant slip-cased volume that chronicles the last thirty-three years of his career. Designed by Luchford himself, this photographic artist's diary is presented in the form of one continuous overlapping photographic montage consisting of tear sheets, prints, Polaroids, and ephemera..."Pictorialism" depicts the progression of one of the most influential photographers, and will be an instant classic for the fashion and photography set." -"Lifeandtimes.com"

HASH(0x8f915354) out of 5 stars manufacturing/printing process caused severe defect in THREE copies (presumably ALL) 30 Nov. 2014
By LLS - Published on Amazon.com

THREE different copies of this book all had an IDENTICAL and very severe defect obviously caused during the manufacturing/printing process, namely the upper right side of the book is CAVED IN, not only the cover but the pages themselves. It's just not something you can ignore, it looks like the books were dropped off the side of a building. I was sorely disappointed as I'd been looking forward to this book for ages. I even considered purchasing a FOURTH copy hoping the others were just a fluke but that was a ridiculous notion. MAN I wish that were not the case because the photos themselves are awesome!
