Product description

"From Glasgow to Saturn" is celebrating our tenth anniversary this year with our 38th issue of publication! This beautiful limited-run issue features prose and poetry from Chris Athorne, Laura Becherer, Kirsty Dunlop, Martin Cathcart Froden, Emma Guiness, Vivien Jones, Craig Lamont, David Linklater, Gillean McDougall, Kerrie McKinell, Sean McLeod, Mairi Murphy, Victoria Shropshire, Maria Sledmere, Sarah Spence, Angie Spoto, and Peter McCune. It will be launch in 2017 at the National Library in Edinburgh. "From Glasgow to Saturn" is a literary journal based out of the University of Glasgow. Based in the Creative Writing department, and run by students of the university's Creative Writing Programme, we publish prose fiction, poetry, essays, and articles on the craft of writing. We aim to showcase work by current students and staff of Glasgow University and the Glasgow School of Art. We publish work by undergraduates, postgraduates, alumni, and members of staff. Originally established in 2007, the magazine has a compelling and impressive history. Past contributors include Alan Bissett, Rodge Glass, Karen Campbell, Kirsty Logan, John Jennett, Zoë Strachan, Laura Marney and Elizabeth Reeder. You will find their work, along with lots more, in the archives of previous issues, at: https://glasgowtosaturn.com
