About the Author
Andy Tyson has worked for years at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Alpine Ascents International, and Exum Mountain Guides. Mike Clelland is an illustrator and NOLS instructor who has drawn cartoons for a series of instructional books for FalconGuides. including Allen and Mke's Really Cool Backcountry Ski Book and Allen & Mike's Really Cook Telemark Tips. He lives next-door to Andy in eastern Idaho.

If you buy it digitally for Apple ibooks, you will be able to zoom in on the diagrams, which I found very helpful. I bought it in paper and then digitally as well.
