I've worn these shoes for a total of 4 rides now, and already the upper is separating from the sole on both shoes. I reached out to customer service, and they said that they need the pair returned and they will inspect and send replacement. Unfortunately it's been over 30 days since purchasing these on Amazon so I'm at a loss there.. And now I'm basically stuck with shoes that I don't want because they're going to send a replacement pair of poor quality shoes. I have weekly rides that I've signed up for in the beginning of the season, and they told me the whole return/replace process will take "a few weeks". Being it's the beginning of the season and I need to clip-in, I'm basically out riding for probably a month.
I was surprised though how much they stretched out over time. Granted I did wear them a lot, but when I first tried them on I remember the middle strap velcro did not overlap entirely and the buckle strap closed about halfway. Three weeks later the buckle strap is closed almost to the last notch! If this is normal, it's new to me. Toward the end the shoe upper began to show wear and separate from the sole on the inside edge of the ball of my foot (where the shoe takes the most beating from the bend in your foot while walking) but otherwise they are still good for more miles.
I'm a women's 8-8.5 and these fit well. After stretching out a bit it feels like I could have gone down a half size, but it didn't feel that way when I got them so I'm content.
