She loves your son. She wants your life. How far would you go to protect your son?
Laura has it all. A successful career, a long marriage to a rich husband, and a twenty-three year-old son, Daniel, who is kind, handsome, and talented. Then Daniel meets Cherry. Cherry is young, beautiful and smart but hasn’t led Laura’s golden life. And she wants it.
When tragedy strikes, a decision is made and a lie is told. A lie so terrible it changes their lives forever.

Nicely tightened up at the end, but I worried about Cherry's poor mother who was a really believable character and we didn't get to know how she got on, which was a shame.
An excellent read for the money, well done Michelle.
When Daniel meets and falls in love with Cherry, a beautiful and intelligent young woman and takes her to meet his mother, sparks fly. The two women do not get on, and when a tragedy strikes their lives take a very dangerous downward spiral.
It was quite hard to empathise with either of the two main characters and I guess it is a thriller of sorts, but in my opinion the ending was a little bit sketchy. On saying that it is a good read.
