This is going to be the buzziest book of 2017 . . . This year The Girl Before will be that book (InStyle)
I was instantly gripped and held captivated by the pace and elegant writing. I devoured it in two straight sittings (Peter James)
A remarkably poised (debut) psychological thriller (The Sunday Times)
Dazzling - a pitch-perfect thriller (Lee Child)
The tension is built up subtly, leading to a devastating climax. A really clever thriller . . . [the film] will no doubt become the third big 'Girl' film (Daily Mail)
Riveting! One of the most compelling page-turners I've read in years. Twisty, turny, and with an ending not to be missed! (Lisa Gardner)

The story follows two women and their relationship with one man, a tangled dark history full of secrets set in a bizarre and unique setting of a building built by a renowned architect. The cutting edge building a technology plays a big role throughout the whole story, and offers a totally unique aspect to the thriller genre.
There wasn't one part of this book that had me bored. It was more enjoyable for me than Girl on the Train. Great read.
It is owned and controlled by an obsessive architect who takes perfection to the next level and has more than a scientific interest in his tenants and the life changes necessary to meet his exacting standards.
It's compelling, unpredictable, intriguing and suspenseful and the short chapters keep you turning the pages to find out what exactly happened to Emma, the girl before Jane.
I really enjoyed this one and will look out for the film, which I've heard is being made - 4 solid stars!
The main character in the book Jane is looking for a fresh start so when she is given the chance to live in an ultra-minimalist house on condition she follow certain rules she decides this is the opportunity she has been looking for.
Once she moves in she discovers the previous tenant a young woman called Emma died there and she sets out to discover the truth behind her tragic death.....
The plot was gripping and kept me guessing until the end. I will be reading more by this author in the future.
Fantastic characterisation of the four main players in this "whodunnit" saga, I was hooked immediately! The book centres around the creepiest house I've come across since the Bate's motel and the death of its former occupant. The story is well paced with many twists and turns, reminiscent of Gilliam Flynn's "Gone Girl" admittedly, but it keeps you turning those pages.
Unlike "Gone Girl" I was not disappointed by the ending, the characters got exactly the ending they deserved.
A well thought out and exciting thriller; I am looking forward to reading Delaney's other books!
