If i buy this triggers , i not use this long time and so i try once again and now i like this wery much play with these things. Fingers is better in place and handling is moore comfy. I think this is recommentable for all PS 3 users. Most people say so this triggers get broken, i feel first like this too , but now i can press buttons sensitively and can play too good. This need habit and is personally how much how like or not these. And yes these is not so cheap. Strong plastic some. And SONY stuff is expensive too.

Bought a pair of these a couple of years ago, they were pretty good and lasted me a while (year?) before numerous droppings of my controller forced them into submission. Ordered another pair a few days ago, and upon opening of the packaging noticed they have changed design. They are now harder to clip on, and feel like better quality plastic that is slightly rubberised. This can only be good news, I'm expecting these to last a pretty long time.

And comon, I mean, £1.20? Why WOULDN'T you buy these? Even if you hate the feel of them or they don't last very long (Only down to how well they are looked after).

I do however have to add that I wouldn't need these if Sony Playstation weren't so stubborn and changed their not-so-ergonomic controller design. Too small for the hands, these beauties make the pad fit in my hands so much easier. I also purchased some concave rubber fittings for the analogue sticks and overall the controller is 100% better.

Can't think of any cons.

They suit the controller.

They are made out of plastic, but with a good grip side where you place your fingers.
But unfortunately, one of these triggers broke after some month. I cant tell if it is my fault or bad product quality... I wont complain due to the affordable price!

well after many times of my finger slipping off my triggers i had bust the springs in the triggers, so i was fed up of my fingers slipping off so i ordered these for my new ps3 controller and i have to say the delivery was very fast and the quality of the triggers i cannot fault, very strong plastic well made and fit perfect, i use to have aching hands after playing on my ps3 but with these they allow you to open your fingers more so you can relax your fingers while playin and they make gaming for me more comfortable.

im thinking on ordering another set for my non dualshock controller.

Good idea but poorly made

I got some of these for both my PS3 controllers and at first was really pleased with them, they made the triggers MUCH easier to use in games like Burnout Paradise, Dirt 2 and Need For Speed. My fingers were always slipping off the R2 trigger beforehand but the shape of these triggers makes the triggers more comfortable and easier to use.

BUT, the plastic they are made from started to fatigue and crack quite quickly, and eventually they just snapped off in the middle of playing. In all they only lasted a month or two, and I don't spend that long on my PS3 compared to some of my mates. At first I thought it might just be a faulty product but the second set suffered the same fate quite soon.

My advice would be to try one of the alternatives to the Gioteck triggers (I've ordered the EA Comfort Play Pack to see how they compare) because these will probably break quite quickly under even moderate use.

not built to last

This is the second pair I have bought, the first got to a point where they wouldn't stay on after about 2 months, now my second pair just cracked and will not stay on and its been 1 month. I went out of my way to treat them extra carefully the second time. However they still cracked at the top. Nevertheless these are great before they break. They look cooler than other products of the same catergory and feel good, however thee breaking is unforgivable. I have now purchased a pair of assecure triggers which feel very sturdy and do the same job. However i cannot say i recommend the having only owned them for about a week. Having said that if I where to review my giotechs after a week, I would to have nothing but positive things to say. But so far so good for the assecure pair.

Makes the PS3 a better console

No glue so you can remove them if you want to, they are cheap and they make the DS3/SixAxis a much better controller. I used to hate gaming on the PS3, because of the controller, but after I got these I very rarely even think about using an inferior controller.

The biggest issue is that the springs for the triggers are designed with the awful slippy buttons in mind so when you actually get a good grip with these on, the spring feels pretty bad. Nothing to worry about in games when you use L2/R2 as an on/off button, but using the triggers as gas and brake in Gran Turismo feels awful. There isn't enough resistance in the spring so you can't make accurate adjustments and you have no idea how much the trigger is depressed, because of the extra bit of plastic.

A must buy for anyone who rightfully thinks the 360 pad is superior.

La verdad que encajaron en un mando Revenge que tengo de B-Move BG Be the Game, a la perfección. Tal cual en un mando ps3, porque el mío es un clon del ps3. Y le van geniales, quedan bien con el color hasta de mis sticks. Muy bien. Se sujetan a la perfección y no se sueltan. Hasta tienen en el medio donde va el número, una goma que hace que el dedo no se vaya.

El único inconveniente que veo es que son demasiado gruesos. No son anchos porque relativamente se ajustan bien al gatillo del mando, tienen prácticamente el mismo ancho de palanca longitudinalmente con respecto al dedo. Pero son gruesos porque te desplaza la mano hacia atrás porque el gatillo te echa los dedos para atrás. Es decir, si fuesen más estrechos quedaría la mano más al centro. Además va a depender del tamaño de mano. Estos son perfectos para manos grandes, pero para manos pequeñas (aunque van bien) no son tan cómodos.

Por lo demás añadiéndole unos grips a los sticks para subirlos un poco y quizá (depende) una funda para hacer los cuernos del mando más largos, el mando de la ps3 quedaría mucho más cómodo y preciso.

Y ya si cambias los sticks por unos más pequeños pues sería todavía más práctico. Pero bueno. Eso ya a mayores. Mucho mod.

Yo se lo recomendaría a alguien que no tiene mucho presupuesto y que ya tiene un mando de ps3 (o clon) sea tanto para ps3 como para pc. Porque realmente estos "sobregatillos" son geniales y te ahorras de comprarte un mando nuevo con los sticks cóncavos en vez de convexos como los trae originalmente el mando de la ps3, que sinceramente, es una de las pocas cosas no tan buenas que tiene el mando.

Resumiendo: fantásticos y muy recomendables. 100%

I had triggers on my PS3 controller for about a 3 months before they broke. I decided to search for different ones, because the triggers I had were kind of cheap and slipped off frequently. I got these today and they feel real sturdy. They don't slip off easily, you basically have to force them off. The trigger aren't big or small, they're just the right size, for me at least. I definitely recommend these for racing games.

Update- One of the trigger attachments broke. They were good while they lasted, but these really need to be made of stronger material.
