Gillette Fusion men’s razor blade refills each have five precision blades spaced closer together (vs. Mach3) for less feel of irritation and comfort. Each blade refill also has a precision trimmer on the back, ideal for edging tough areas such as under the nose and sideburns. One razor blade refill equals up to one month of shaves. These fusion blade refills can be used with any fusion razor handle.

Gillette Fusion men’s razor
Gillette Fusion blades are most compatible with the Gillette Fusion razor.
The comfort of five blades and the precision of one
Gillette Fusion blades are spaced closer together* for incredible comfort. Next to the five-blade shaving technology the Fusions advanced shaving system includes a Precision Trimmer for accurate edging and a flexible Comfort Guard for added smoothness.
Five blades cut closer than one
It’s not just that five blades cut better than one, Gillette Fusion blade technology features five blades spaced closer together to help supply a closer and more comfortable shave.*
* vs. MACH3
Precision Trimmer for trickier spots
This single blade built into the back of the cartridge allows you to shave tricky places like sideburns and under the nose.
Indicator Lubrastrip for improved glide
The Indicator Lubrastrip at the top of your blades makes shaving smoother by delivering water-soluble lubricants to the skin for improved glide and comfort. It also fades to white to let you know that you are no longer getting an optimal shave, easily fixable with another Gillette Fusion blade.
Microfins make a big difference
The Skin Guard on the blades is comprised of soft Microfins that precede the blades and help stretch and prepare the skin before the first blade cuts the first hair for a close, comfortable shave.
Experience Fusion ProShield. Gillette’s most advanced shave
Revel in Gillette’s unparalleled shaving technology with the Gillette Fusion ProShield men’s razor, the only Gillette razor to shield while you shave. The ProShield razor is the first of its kind to feature lubrication strips before and after the blades to form a protective layer and shield your skin from irritation.

The only difference I have found is that the colour of the lubricating strip is blue instead of orange on the power, and the indicator strip is green not blue. The performance is exactly the same and you can save yourself a few notes in the process by using these instead.
They say that you should get 6 months use out of 8 blades. I have found that you will get a lot more. I use a blade for a full month, replacing it on the 1st of every month. After that, the blades do get a little blunt, but I could probably get a few more weeks out of them, but at the risk of scraping my skin a little. the indicator strip which is a visible sign that the blade needs changing tends to wear off after a few weeks, so I completely ignore this.
Advise anyone who has the excellent Fusion razor to use these blades, you will save money and get the same blades, but not colour co-ordinated to your power razor.
I am not sure there is actually any difference between these and the more expensive Gillette Fusion Power Blades - 8 Pack, (which are generally a couple of £ more expensive on the shops), apart from the colour. So even if you own the "Power" version of the razor itself, I would stick with these "manual" ones.
I am still on my first blade and have now come to the end of my 5th week of using it, and it is still going strong. Yes, you can feel that it is nowehere near as sharp as it was when it was fresh from the packet but, as I said, it is still giving a vary close shave without any associated razor burning rash. I have dark hair and have to shave every morning so they are out to the test.
The instructions state that you should change the blade when the colour stripe fades. Rubbish! Take no notice whatsoever! It is just a way of Gillette trying to get you to buy the blades more frequent than you really need to.
I would recommend these blades. Some people have complained that the blades, being 5, are too clumsy to shave the top lip. Nonsense! I have had no proplems whatsoever. There is even a single blade of the reverse of the blade head for shaving directly under the nose.
I am wondering when we'll start seeing the 6-blade razors out. :)
I started with the fusion power razor but eventually never bothered to replace the battery as it wasn't doing that much for me having the razor vibrate (or emitting strange and wonderful waves of energy as the advert would have you believe, its just vibration!). Note that these ordinary fusion blades (not power blades) will still fit your fusion power razor! You are not tied down to use the more expensive fusion power blades with your fusion power razor as Gillette would have you believe. The standard fusion blades work perfectly well, vibration or no vibration.
The single blade for fine trimming is useless for me. I require this 5 bladed razor as it can make better work of my thicker hair, so trying to use the one blade is not useful, it cannot cut sideburns and in fact it rarely actually even catches a hair to be able to cut it, as if its too retracted into the shaver case and not able to get a good reach into a piece of hair. I guess it may work if you have thinner softer hair but then buying a five bladed top end razor seems like bit of a contradiction.
The blades actually wash surprisingly easily considering it has 5 blades close together.Read more ›

Nothing beats the shave of a razor in terms of the closeness of shave, these are the best price when on offer or with a code as they can be expensive replacing. Read morePublished 21 days ago by Callum
I tried these blades months after using genuine ones and I believe these blades are fake, they are no where near as sharp as genuine Gillette blades. Read morePublished 24 days ago by Amazon Customer
