First thing you should know about this card is that Amazon are currently calling it a "DDR" memory type, when in fact it is the high performance GDDR5.

I bought this card to fit in my Media PC, which is intended for videos and some gaming. It is a good combination of performance/price that will run all the modern titles, in high but not always ultra settings. Also it is near silent while watching videos, and pretty quiet during games. The card is very short, so there is no issues fitting it inside a case. It is a full height card, and in fact slightly larger than some thanks to the heatpipe that sticks out the top. Gigabyte also do another 750ti which is half height, should you require that.
The card comes with a driver disk and a power adapter, should your PC not have the appropriate six pin VGA power connector. I am pretty sure it will though, they have been around for years. There shouldn't be any issue at all with a power supply. The card only consumes 60W maximum, and the 400W Gigabyte recommend is being conservative.
I use the free and utilities MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner. Just a personal choice of course, but I find it useful to monitor a graphics card for a few weeks until I am happy it is working fine and the PSU is happy. In the Media PC I have setup Riva Tuner to limit the framerate of the card to be the same as my monitor ~ 60FPS. In doing that, it significantly reduces the heat the card will produce and the power it consumes when under full load. You use MSI to monitor the power consumption and that will assure me that everything is OK. I have no doubt it will be.
Cooling is a combination of heatpipe, heatsink and dual fan and is second to none at the moment. Cooling is even better than the Asus 750ti. It runs so cool, even under load. Just running Windows it was running a few degrees above ambient.

It's very easy to spend money on graphics cards, indeed they can range from £50 for a barebones version all the way up to and beyond £450+ for the very latest card, This one however sit's somewhere in the middle and is more than capable of running most games on very high settings lag free. 2GB of the latest GDDR5 Memory is exactly what most people should be looking for. Also this card is rated at 4K@60 frames per second via the two HDMI ports (although achieving that is something different, it can support up to 4 screens in total (2 on HDMI, 1 on DVI-I and one on DVI-D). For those wanting to know the overall size of the card to see if it fits into your case: L=204mm , W=144 mm, H=42mm.

The card has been designed to work in a PCI-Express slot 3.0 x 16 Bus and DOES require a 6-pin power connector directly from the power supply, they do include an adapter in the box should you only have 2x 4 pin connectors available. Now here comes the warning, Ensure you have a minimum of a 450w rated power supply. Sure, the literature might say a minimum of 400w but sometimes you can get power spikes especially during intensive gaming sessions or if you are video editing and having a power supply capable of handling such events is essential...

Verdict: For the money you will struggle to find a better graphics card capable of running the vast majority of games at near ultra settings around 30 frames per second. More than that, it's got a good balance or power usage and performance and would equally make a great choice for everyday use, knowing that you have the graphical capacity to play games and edit videos.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as an Entry level gaming card!

I needed to upgrade my graphics card to enable Nvidia shadowplay video capture. I have dell xps8500 desktop and was advised to fit the 660 which was unavailable at the time so took a gamble on this one. Disconnected power leads etc, It looked a bit different with two fans except one. I removed the old card gave the inside a good hovering to remove all the dust. Computers make good hoovers themselves. Checked the terminals were the same, here goes it fitted well, couldn't believe it, its in, had to plug in the additional power lead. Then the moment of truth powered the machine up all looked OK. But blank computer screen. Hmmm how do I log in to install the driver disk. Fortunately I have an HDMi Connection to the TV and I logged in from there so far so good, I then ran the installation disk bit nervous but installed successfully and the computer screen came to life. Shadow play is now active and works a treat for recording sim games. Really well pleased.

I would first like to start by saying that I researched this product and many others before purchase and also I used lots of customer reviews to make an informed decision. I am by no means an expert on these things but I hope my review helps. My first venture into the self build pc world was aimed at a mid range gaming pc, I chose parts that offered good value for money, could run most games on mid to high settings and the newer games on mid ranges. The pc I built is fully upgradeable as required and I've added photos of my build(please don't look at the dodgy cable management) :)

My build was as follows:-
Gigabyte Gaming 5 Motherboard
Intel I-5 4690K Processor
4 x 8Gb Hyper X Fury Red Ram boards
240 Gb Hyper X Savage SSD
Gigabyte NVidia GTX 750 ti 2Gb Graphics card.
I also threw in 3 the of Corsair Air Series AF120-LED 120mm Quiet Edition High Airflow LED Fan - Blue (Dual Pack) silent fans which are blue on start-up and during running.

Onto the Graphics Card:-

The graphics card is pretty big but runs almost silently even when stressed on high intensity applications. The card requires to be connected to the PSU so I've installed a 500w in this system and so far am having no problems. This card cannot be joined in SLI which is a shame but it can be overclocked and this is easy with various YouTube tutorials available in conjunction with Riva tuner and MSI afterburner.
When in use, the Graphics card tends to stay quite cool and even when benchmarked it stayed around 50 so no problems there. I guess this is down to the design: 2x fans, Heat sink and Heat pipe.

The card has easily exceeded my expectations in every way and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to hit games at a mid range but not too high. I'm thinking of upgrading in the future to a Gigabyte GTX 970 as this graphics card has made such a good impression.
Buy with confidence, 5 Stars.....
