Born in London, Gideon Haigh lives, works and plays cricket in Melbourne. He's been a journalist since 1984, has contributed to more than 100 newspapers and magazines, has written thirty-two books and edited seven others. It's regularly at this point he rather runs out of things to say about himself, and loses interest in using the third person. Anyway, I've got a rudimentary website you can visit: gideonhaigh.com. Yay. This template is urging me to 'be creative', and to 'share anecdotes or interesting details about yourself with your readers', but in these I feel disappointingly lacking, as I write in the general absence of any other aptitude, least of all cricket. So, y'know, hope you enjoy the books. Now it wants me to post a photograph. Wish me luck.
