Was quite a difficult puzzle and in fact gave up when I spent ages on the trees and sky. Thought the water would be diffcilt but that wasn't too bad. Not used to giving up but was getting frustrated. May go back another time and try again. On the whole a nice puzzle.

I've been doing a lot of jigsaws recently following a back injury! The picture is nice and the puzzle looked great when I'd finished it after about 8 hours work I consider this to be an optimum sort of time (one puzzle consisting solely of lots of penguins took over 2 weeks but another was done in a few hours without referring to the picture!). One minor criticism is that the pieces are quite flimsy compared with many modern style puzzles and some were of similar shape so I made 2 or 3 mistakes that needed to be rectified to finish the picture.

Couldnt get rid of all the pieces - I had 4 pieces left and 4 spaces but no matter how I moved them around, couldnt make it work. My sister and sister-in-law have also had a go at it but none of us have succeeded in completing the puzzle

It is very rare for me to give up on a puzzle, but the tree section proved impossible with so many pieces being interchangeable and rarely proving more than 85% correct.I thought the water and the sky would be difficult but completed these sections: it was the tree that frustrated and defeated me.

I love Gibsons puzzles, always found them good quality and tricky enough but too easy. I purchased it because my husband would not take me to Bourton so I thought Bourton would come to him! All was going well until it came to the trees, wow how difficult were they. I thought I had got down to the last 6 pieces, but no they would not fit, I really thought someone at the factory had swapped pieces with another puzzle, I spent well over an hour putting it together taking it apart until eventually I did it. I can show my husband this review and say I was not the only one who found it tricky. But despite that, another very good quality product.

Bought this as a Mother's Day gift for mum of 88. She has just started doing the puzzle only to find several pieces broken due to mistakes in cutting the puzzle by manufacturer. Only thing is it took her so long to get started that she won't dismantle what she has done so far in order to return it!

The puzzle was very good and hard to do but could not finish it off because there was a bit missing

Gibson's jigsaws are always good but this one is even better than usual.
Very challenging and reminds me of years ago when we used to let our children paddle in that river/stream.. Summers were warmer then and we were not so scared of letting children enjoy themselves.
