I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Loved the easy way it read and finished the story in a day as I just wanted to know what would happen. Reminded me quite a but of the film The Ghost and Mrs Muir but that still dud bit spoil my enjoyment of the story.
I will definitely be reading more books by this author

I do not usally read romantic novels, but the synopsis had me intreged leading to me having a pleasant read.
You can not help getting envolved with the charictors in this story.

When her mother dies, Jennifer inherits a house, that her mother has never mentioned.. That is the start of many mystery's.
Wanting to find out more, she packs up her city flat and moves to countryside.
The house she moves to is haunted by a tempermental artist, who will not tolerate anyone living in his house, until Jennifer he had
never failed to make people leave.

This is a very light read and highly entertaining.

I'm not normally a romance enthusiast so I bought this book solely because of the ghost/mystery element. I have to say it was a thoroughly good read, especially when written from the ghost's perspective in places. I came to love the characters and the story was well thought-out and well written.

Jennifer inherits a house with, unbeknown to her, a miserable curmudgeonly reclusive tenant who has resided for decades within, having scared off those he feels have no business in his property. That is until Jennifer turns up and therein lies a mystery between this new arrival and a picture painted seemingly of the same woman, but a century ago.

Yes there were some anomolies (How does he smoke the tobacco she leaves for him? How are they able to touch?) but the tale is so compelling you tend to forgive the author. If I have a gripe at all it is that the ending did leave more questions than answers; it might be fairer to say it didn't end the way I expected it to. Having said that though, it was extremely enjoyable!

This was a surprisingly good read that I found really enjoyable.I could easily read more books by this author. It was refreshing to find a book that doesn't need to shock to be entertaining and I really enjoyed the bits of humour that kept the story light hearted.
I thought it was also a nice touch when the ghost would materialise and talk and join in conversations with other people.
Not the type of book I would normally read but I will certainly read more from this author. Worthwhile read.

Yes I did like this book and it was an easy read but after reading a few pages I then .knew what it reminded me of a film which is a favourite of mine called Mrs Muires ghost about a sea captain and his house over looking the sea. He falls in love with a young widower and together they write a rauchey. Book only problem is the sea captain is a ghost and in the end when the love of his dies he comes to collect her to be his for ever . Still do give it a go I am sure you will enjoy.
