A great story just like the other Sanctuary books and one that I did not want to end to quickly. All the books in the series
have excellent stories as well as romance and that makes them a pleasure to read
I have read them all and never wanted any of them to end.
This one has a first class story about two men who were on different sides when they first met and tells of how they
got to know each other the story is not easy to describe with out spoiling the story for anyone who want to read it.
R J Scott is one of the best especially when it comes to writing stories of this kind with more than just romance

This series of books although individual in the story and main characters each leads nicely into the next, but without nasty cliffhangers. This book tells of Elliott the Sanctuary operative and Cole the Ghost of the title. The book is full of the action and intrigue expected with a healthy dose action romance. It also shows that Cole isn't quite the cold blooded enemy Sanctuary thought and that Elliott is definitely a good match. I love this series and am looking forward to book 10.

I've waited a long time for this book. Well worth the wait.
Continues on from where Accidental Hero finishes, Elliot is hunting the Ghost, bad guy, murderer only all is not as it seems.

This book has a fantastic storyline and an intriguing plot that made the book an exceptional read. I just couldn't put the book down.

I'm now counting the days till the next book is published. Well done RJ

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read by the masterful RJ Scott 16 Mar. 2017

Another great read by the masterful RJ Scott! I have not read everything she's written but I have never been disappointed with the work that has crossed my Kindle and Ghost is no exception to that. I always enjoy a good enemies to lovers tale, okay maybe enemies is a bit harsh for how Elliot and Cole begin but they certainly are not friends, perhaps adversaries is a better word.

Sanctuary does what is does best, protect the hurting, I can't quite say innocent because lets face it, the cases, protectors, and protectees can fall into a bit of a grey area when it comes to the legal side of the table. The chemistry between the boys is off the charts, whether it's mud-slinging, easy going banter, or just existing within the same four walls, you can just feel the heat emanating off your e-reader. If you are sitting down to read the print version you better be prepared for spontaneous combustion because Ghost is full-on foreplay.

I won't touch on the mystery aspect of Ghost which is a continuation of the Vargas case that began the Chicago arc in Accidental Hero because I don't do spoilers but I will say it kept me intrigued from beginning to end. As I type this I am patiently waiting, or not so patiently to be honest, for the next and possibly final installment By the Numbers. If you haven't read Sanctuary, Inc yet I highly recommend getting your fingers walking, prepare tons of your caffeine beverage of choice, and diving in because you won't surface till you finished.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wild Sanctuary Ride 28 Feb. 2017

I'm a huge RJ Scott fan and this entry in the Sanctuary series did NOT disappoint. There was intrigue, action, and best of all: romance! This book answered some long-standing questions that have been on-going in the series and still left enough mystery that I can't wait for the next book. Ellliot and Cole were terrific and the set-up for the next romance was interesting. If you've been enjoying the Sanctuary series, this is not to be missed and if you haven't tried this series yet, grab Guarding Morgan and get started!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good continuation 3 April 2017

Elliott is a Sanctuary operative hunting a supposed killer they've named Ghost. Cole is an ex Army Ranger sniper searching for the killer of his brother and trying to single handedly take out a criminal organization headed by Vargas. Cole and Elliott team up, not exactly willingly, to take down Vargas. In they're investigation they get information on a friend of Cole's brother and Jamie (a man killed in book 8) called Brandon and they hunt him down. After a short hunt Brandon is taken to a Sanctuary safe house to await his sisters before giving up his information. Brandon, Michael and Jamie have accumulated a lot of evidence. After Cole and Elliott get the evidence they're immediately evading the bad guys and almost take a header. At this point it comes out what Cole's hiding from Elliott and Sanctuary. Information leads to hunting down one of Varga's head lieutenants. Cole lands in hot water again and Elliott helps him out. So at this point Cole leaves Sanctuary and Elliott. After 3 weeks apart Elliott goes after Cole and they tentatively start a relationship.
I thought it was a mostly well written book. There are a few sentences that needed a second edit catch, such as one very distinctive sentence in chapter 8. It read as follows: " I'm going to find Daniel," said and slipped off the bed. One can assume it was Hannah talking since Yvonne was rolling her eyes in the very next sentence. I'm not a writer and I caught this the second I read the sentence. As I mentioned a second edit pass was needed. Also Brandon becomes Brendon later in the book. Not sure how that was missed since he was mentioned as Brandon multiple times for several chapters and then he's Brendon multiple times for the last 2-3 chapters, it wasn't a one time thing. Lastly I didn't feel like Elliott and Cole had romantic chemistry. Maybe because they were on the go so much or because there's not much romance going on period but I didn't feel it. It is a good continuation of the Sanctuary story and the Vargas saga. It had some good mystery, a little tension going. Will definitely buy and read book 10. Would definitely recommend it to RJ's fans.
Sorry my review isn't better written as I'm not a writer only a reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, as always! 12 Mar. 2017

I wanted to hug Cole so badly when I first got into this story, for so many reasons. Then Elliott showed up and I wanted to hug him too, and ok have them hug each other. What can I say? I love a connection. The spark, the flame, the intense...disagreements with the underlying of mistrust....peppered with the WANT to trust, to confide in someone. To save someone you are beginning to care about.
This story flowed so beautifully. Had a bit of everything I love when reading a book by R.j. She is able make me see, feel and understand what the main characters are going through. I am REALLY looking forward to the next book!
A MUST read.

Been waiting a while for a new book in the series! Fantastic read. It brings together another relationship, and shows another side of sanctuary. Looking forward to the next book in the series! Easily my favorite series including the series by another author, the santornos and scarcity sanctuary series. Automatic buys for all 3 authors!
