One being, in order to reduce caffeine intake, to substitute tea/ coffee for a mug of hot water; I retched at the thought at first, to find that it really is quite pleasant.
There are also useful techniques for relaxing in bed and advice for shift/ night workers, who are often overlooked in this type of book.
A valuable point is to not make a big thing of not sleeping; to not discuss it , or focus on it too much. A bit like the paradox of trying too hard.
