Although I have read most of the advice in some form or other, there are some unique tips that I hadn't come across.
One being, in order to reduce caffeine intake, to substitute tea/ coffee for a mug of hot water; I retched at the thought at first, to find that it really is quite pleasant.
There are also useful techniques for relaxing in bed and advice for shift/ night workers, who are often overlooked in this type of book.
A valuable point is to not make a big thing of not sleeping; to not discuss it , or focus on it too much. A bit like the paradox of trying too hard.

I think this book is aimed more at the younger age range. I am 87 and haven't found much I didn't already know. My biggest help so far is 'soft music and 'Breathe Easy' strips
