Get Your Rocks Off is book 2 of the Rock God series by K E Osborn and follows on from the cliffhanger ending of Off Your Rocker, book 1.

I didn't expect this book to be as emotional as the first because I honestly thought things were going to finally work out for Lia and Cole who went through so much in Off Your Rocker. I was wrong though, and Get Your Rocks Off also took me on a real emotional roller-coaster ride as life just wouldn't give this poor couple a break. I found myself crying, gasping, sighing, cheering and even fist pumping into the air as I read this incredible addition to a series that you do NOT want to miss. K E Osborn is such a talented author who isn't afraid to show the realities of what relationships and life can really be like. She also likes to throw in some unexpected surprises and plot twists that only add to your need to continue reading.

I was able to relate with Lia who is a very emotional person and struggles when the hurt becomes too much. I could understand Lia’s pain shown by her tears and her not knowing what to do for the best. I totally understood the decisions she made, and I think it showed how incredibly strong she really was. Poor Colt goes through one of the worst times of his life at the end of book 1 and the start of this book, but there's even more trials coming his way when someone from his past reappears at one of the worst times possible. When he receives the most unexpected news, my stomach dropped and I felt sick throughout as I didn't want it to be true and I really honestly believed it would be the end of Lia and Colt. I don't want to give anything away, but K E Osborn takes the story in a direction that you'll dislike but are unable to stop reading about.
As far as I'm aware, these two books are the only ones planned for this series. However, I'd love for K E Osborn to write more books within this series. I'd love to know more about Hux and Macy who definitely have a whole story of their own to tell. Then there's Dingo and Sia who also don't have an easy journey and we get glimpses of this in Get Your Rocks Off. I'd also like to know more about Annie and Ella who we meet in the epilogue of this book. They do get their own books in the follow up series, The Next Generation, so hopefully we'll get to learn more about their arrival into Lia and Colt’s lives.
The Rock God series has become one of my favourites and I'll definitely be re-reading both books. I'm also looking forward to discovering the other series’ written by K E Osborn who I know won't fail to deliver a story that remains with you for days after. When that happens, you know you've found an author that you have to keep updated with!
