Format: Paperback
The book is a collection of plans in 1/35, 1/48 and 1/72 scale. The plans are sharp, easy to understand and cover a wide range of German AFVs of WWII. There is a quite useful table for scale conversions to be used when photocopying the plans. It would have earned five stars if some (not so widely produced) versions of AFVs were not missing. Very good for modellers. There is also a German late war AFV volume, that is of the same quality.

I bought some of the new edition Bradford books and was very pleased with them. My favorite is the "1/72 German Vehicles" book (it's my modelling scale).

But if you use this books, you have to be careful...some of this profiles are more than 20 years old! One example: The Neubaufahrzeug Medium Tank (NbFz) has a wrong shape of the air intake..since this drawing was made, there were more than one picture found, showing the correct shape (that one used for the new Dragon kit)

All in all a very good book, with little errors

A detailled and comprehensive record of German tanks and other armoured vehicles in service during the early years of WWII. A useful reference book.
