Removes up to 42% of Fat.

Fat reduction is at the core of the George Foreman brand and independent tests have shown that the George Foreman Grill can remove up to 42% of fat* from food. The angled grill channels fat and grease away from foods, and contact grilling from both sides applies gentle pressure onto food encouraging additional fat to be removed.

Grill and Griddle.

The 18603 Grill and Griddle from George Foreman combines a separate grill and griddle feature, allowing you to whip up a full hearty breakfast in no time. Have your sausages and bacon on the grill while your fried eggs, tomatoes mushrooms and hash browns are cooking on the griddle.

Dual Variable Temperature Control.

Both the grill and griddle have independent temperature controls allowing you to alter the temperature of the surface dependent on the food type. If you only want to use one side of the appliance, simple turn the variable temperature off on the one you won't wish to use, allowing you to keep firmly in control.

Floating Hinge.

The grill's specifically designed floating hinge automatically adjusts the top grill to accommodate extra thick cuts of food to ensure even cooking - ideal for toasting sandwiches, paninis or uneven portions of meat.

Portion Size.

The 18603 Entertaining Grill and Griddle is able to cook up to 10 portions so is ideal for larger families and entertaining. The 439 cm grill surface accommodates for 4 portions whilst the 613 cm griddle surface accommodates for 6.

Non-Stick Grill Plates.

There is no need to add butter or oil to the George Foreman grill plates as they are non-stick, allowing you to remove up to 42% of the fat dependent on what you are grilling. The non-stick coating makes it easier for the fat to drip away from the food into the drip tray and is easy to clean.

Why haven't you purchased a George Forman Grill yet?

I use my Forman every day. It has a great temperature regulating control and cooks chicken, sausages, fish, you name it... to perfection every time.

Also add seasoning and spices to your food and don't worry about losing the taste to the grill.

I find the grill very easy to clean. I simply put the temperature on the 1 gauge for a minute or so and wipe down with either side of a wet and soapy scourer. Don't use metal scourers or hard brushes on the grill as this may lead to unnecessary scratches and nicks.

3 years after purchasing this grill it is still in amazing condition. Cant fault the price...

The grill also comes with a small booklet to assist cooking times.

Had it a while now, still looks as good as new despite adult son cremating something on it most days. Only takes moments to do ham and cheese toasties and there is no better way to cook sausages.

Easily big enough for two people and the side hot plate is handy to keep the bacon hot while I dish up.

Doesn't drain as well as my last foreman, possibly because of the side plate, not as much of a slant? We got round that by propping the back feet up on a chopping board.

Being a foreman, it's a bugger to clean properly but it is one of the few 'gadgets' that I would replace when it dies.

A great cooking appliance as she has young children so raves of how quick and easy it is to cook with especially when working around the small ones.

Have it for almost 8 months. The flat plate of the grill used to be non-sticky, now It is forcing me to add some drops of oil before cooking if I want to clean it after use. The left side is great, no problems so far. Heat distribution is rather okay - the flat plate does not heat the area next to the ribbed one very well and sometimes my liqud chicken flows down the drain ;) Somehow I have managed to scratch it at the far right corner using my wooden spatulas, now I am just trying to avoid the area for until this unit dies out completely.

I was using just a 4 portion George Foreman until now, but I'm extremely glad it broke to give me an excuse to get this!!! It heats up very fast and has separate heat dials for the grill and the griddle. Unlike previous designs, the grill is actually flat, so less chance of things slipping into the drip tray! It still manages to drain away all the unwanted fat. You can cook almost anything on this and I have made many successful whole meals using nothing but the Foreman! Great for a Full English - makes the perfect fried egg and no oil required! Easy to clean and very easy to use. Definitely recommend upgrading from a standard grill.

Nicely made and great having the hotplate to warm buns or do pancakes etc. Some little quibbles. The hinge section doesn't separate far enough. So if you try cooking several thick items those at the back cook much faster than those at the front. Also the hotplate appears to have a slight tilt toward the grill section so liquids can run that way. Also the grill doesn't have much tilt so much of what runs off stays in the grill rather than going into the drip tray.

I brought this one off here as a Christmas present for my parents, but I have one, that was brought a few years back, and they are brill!
It has 3 temperature settings, which heat up quickly. You can cook pretty much anything on it, that you would normally chuck in a frying pan or on a BBQ, I've even cooked hash browns from frozen on it. It's certainly the healthy way to cook your bacon & sausages, no oil required, and you will be surprised how much fat comes out of the food!
It's really easy to clean, no chemicals should be used on it, just heat it up and wipe with a damp cloth, catching the fat in the collection tray that you get with this product.
