Western TV Themes album on the cd as well great value too.Super recordings faithfully presented on this lovely CD.
Each collection has 17 tracks which are the same. On "Geoff Love Western Themes" the other 7 tracks are, "For A Few Dollars More", "The Wild Bunch", "Cat Ballou", "True Grit", "Once Upon A Time In The West", The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" and "Hombre". The 7 alternatives on the second CD are "Friendly Persuasion", "Stagecoach To Cheyenne", "A Man, A Horse And A Gun", "Bonanza", "Cheyenne", "Shenandoah" and "Hondo".
Both collections are played with gusto and bring out the feeling of the old west and enhance those distant memories of when we had a `Western` on TV almost every night of the week. Yes those were the days. It is hard to choose between the two collections , as both are similar in so many ways. Personally I have both copies, but if I was forced to choose, I would pick the latter.
