Although it was heavily raining it kept me dry and the wet did not penetrate the inner tent. The tent also packs small and is light to handle. After having cheaper basic 2 man tents this really was a lot better and well worth the money. Also its possible to put your shoes between the inner and outer tent so you don't have to have them in with you if they are mucky.
Putting the tent down after finishing with it is as easy as putting up and is quite easy to get back into its carry bag. I know sometimes this can be a real pain on other tents to do. Again, I did this in the pouring rain and gales.
Not sure how good it would be for two people as its slightly smaller than other 2 man tents I've seen I think but for 1 person its great and I'm over six foot. I had plenty of room for my stuff and there was plenty of room to move about inside.
The only bad bit over my weekend was the gale winds did catch it a few points and pushed one of the poles into the other so mishaped the tent until I flexed the pole back. I had a look later on and I think you could tie the outer tent to the inner tent but think this would be a bit tricky and not sure how you would do this. Ideally they need to put a few more loops for the poles closer to the top of the tent to stop this from happening. One of the tie downs on the outer tent was frayed a bit, not sure how it happened but would be easy to replace as the guide lines are quite long. The ground sheet is a little bit thin but fine, will be interesting to see how it goes with further outings but fine so far.
