Installation was hassle free, although this card is double slot but shorter than my old 8800 GT (about 16 cm vs 22 cm ). I had no need to reinstall the Nvidia drivers as they use a unified driver architecture, so it was all just a matter of plug and play. It is virtually silent in operation, unlike other cards which sound like a vacuum cleaner, and idles at about 35ºC, rising to about 80ºC under load.
This card is an even sweeter deal as it includes an Assassin's Creed 3 voucher code. Sadly, this code is for Ubishop and not for Steam - but the Ubi store is pretty decent and I got the previous game in the series (Assassin's Creed 2) thrown in as well.
If you are searching for a budget card and pondering whether to get a 650 Ti (this one) or an HD 7850, bear in mind that the 650 Ti is quieter, consumes less power and is smaller than some HD 7850 variants (especially those by Asus). The HD 7850 is a faster card but the 650 Ti is a really good overclocker and probably a better choice if you can get it cheaper and if you prefer a Nvidia card.
