*Now the low-down, as a gay Dad, let me be totally honest with you.... Compared to how the process was when I first started my journey into parenthood, to now... I will admit, things have gotten better. I would even venture to say that things have gotten 100% easier than how it was (for me, in 2000.) But I will not lie, to have the children God blessed me with, took so much emotional, financial and physical stress out of the core of who I am, looking back, I am surprised I am able to actually to say (in present day) "I have a 11 year old son, 10 year old daughter, 11.5 month old daughter and last, but not least EVER, an angel waiting for me in Heaven who God is looking after for me until I get their who would be two now." or "I want to have more children, so, I think that we should ______." THIS is where things have not necessarily gotten ANY easier, in fact, a better way of putting it might be "ok, so, we have saved up XXXX and I heard about a program XXX that is moving, so we need to RUN NOW before they close, change a law, make a law, change the rules one sunny day, place sanctions on, or triple the $$$"
