very dissapointed this is not the full original uk release there are quite a few tracks missing (15 in total) including aurora, electrique boutique, johnny shaker and basic avalons firewalk. This is not an album for die hard crasher fans. I love the original version of this album this is just dissapointing.

If released today it would sound every bit as good as it did then.
Not a single bad track within the entire album. Tunes such as Sun Is Shining - Technique, Kiss That Sound, Vision Control - Marino Stephano, After the Meteor, to name just only a few, are simply trance at its very very best.
Listen to it once, twice, a thired, it just gets better and better.......Pure Gatecrasher!

HASH(0xa18ac720) out of 5 stars Crashing into the new Millenium! 6 Jan. 2000
By Todd O. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
A two CD TRANCE masterpiece. Undoubtedly, one of the BEST of the Gatecrasher series. Album one is excellent. BUT CD II is one of the best ever. Track 7 is called 'Touched by God'.....yea, it feels like it! And of course no Trance CD is complete without 'Gouryella', which is Track 15. Gouryella encompasses years and years of evolution in Techno music. The song reaches into your very soul and pulls out only the BEST in you. Moonflight, Sygnum, and many others make this one of those CDs that NEVER leave your CD player.

HASH(0xa18acc6c) out of 5 stars Excellent but not the original recording! 27 Mar. 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I bought this in the UK last year and I was totally blown away. A friend liked it so much that he recently bought it. Much to our mutual dismay this 'european export' (made in germany. not the uk) version of the disk has a couple of tracks switched around on the first disk and totally omits the best track of the entire set from the second disk (goyrella - if youve heard the song you know what I mean)... This is still a great disk but I would recommend holding out untill you can get your hands on the british release (which is still in print and available if you look around enough). This is why Im gonna give this 4 stars.... the original would easily get a 6 if it were allowed.
HASH(0x9f0c5c60) out of 5 stars A great set, but CD 1 isn't so hot 16 May 2000
By Mikey - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Okay, now a lot of people call this such an amazing set. Well, I gave it three stars and here is why.
I really had to nail this one because of CD 1. It starts off really, really poorly. I had high hopes for a cool Garbage "When I Grow Up" remix, but this just wasn't it -- it was slow! Not as cool as I'd hoped. Now granted a slowed mix of a song can be cool, but this just didn't do it for me as Track 1. But what really irritated me more than anything was their inclusion of Fatboy Slim's "Praise You"; it does not even remotely resemble a remix, it is just throw in there! COMPLETELY silly inclusion if you ask me, and as big of a fan of Slimbo that I am, I always skip the first couple tracks, because they reallly do not belong. I certainly hope they didn't just throw this track in to try to draw Fatboy Slim fans; it is not nearly his best work and like I said before, completely disconcerting.
Of course, throw on CD 2 and you will forget everything; it rules.
Later... Mike
HASH(0xa18ac4d4) out of 5 stars Gatecrasher: Red - Does it Deliver? 5 April 2006
By Robert A. Freeling - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Disc 1 (Future) starts out a little weak. Praise you is a good track, but not the right track to start out a mix like this. It starts to amp up a little with the Garbage remix, and has a gradual build that slowly, subtly sneaks up on you. By the end of Disc 2 (Plasma) when the Moonman remix of Liberta finishes, your head should be thoroughly blown off of your shoulders, your heart should be pumping harder, and if you're body isn't moving in some fashion...consult your physician.

Easily one of the best Trance compilations ever assembled. Not only does it deliver, but it gives service with a smile, and it leaves you with one. Worth every penny.
HASH(0x9ec5c318) out of 5 stars great set 4 Jun. 2000
By Major Scarlet - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
i noticed that some of the other reviewers didn't like cd 1. i am a big fan of jam and spoon and loved the remake of "stella". also "unity" and "wide eyed angel" are two of my other favs that to me were great in their original form but even better on this cd. i liked cd 2 better but cd 1 has some great tunes on it. gatecrasher is probably the best compilation series around. "Wet" is great too.
