Product Description

Product Description

Quality adjustable fruit picker-10 year guarantee For picking fruit from high branches while keeping your feet on the ground Part of the multi-change tree care without a ladder range A gentle pull and the fruit drops into the strong collection bag Can reach up to 5.7 metres off the ground when used with multi-change telescopic handles

Manufacturer's Description

The best selling multi-change Tree Care Without A Ladder tool is this the premium quality, adjustable fruit picker. It enables you to reach fruit from even the highest of branches whilst keeping your feet firmly on the ground, when used with one of the 2, 3 or 4 meter multi-change telescopic handles.

A durable fruit bag is attached to an adjustable neck that can be altered to reach fruit at different angles. Simply place the serrated neck of the fruit picker around the stalk of the fruit, pull gently and the fruit drops into the collection bag. A built-in knife in the centre of the serrated edge of the bag allows you to tackle even thick, stubborn stems . As part of the unique multi-change system, this tool head should be used with 1 of the 3 telescopic handles in the multi-change range. Simply choose between a 2, 3 or 4 meter telescopic handle (depending on how high you need to reach) and literally ‘click’ the fruit picker onto the handle to lock it into place.

Attaching the head and handle takes seconds and when interlocked, you can be sure of a secure and safe working tool that offers an unbeatable performance. Furthermore, because you are using a telescopic handle, you can keep your feet firmly on the ground at all times- much safer than attempting to climb a ladder to pick your fruit!

You can remove the fruit picker tool head by pressing the release button found on the upper part of the handle and swap it for any other tool head in the collection. This multi-change Tree Care Without A Ladder system allows you to switch from picking fruit to lopping to cleaning high reach windows- all the while using the same handle so saving storage space, effort and money!

Every product in the WOLF-Garten multi-change collection is manufactured in Germany to the highest of engineering standards. This quality assurance is reflected by the 10 year guarantee that covers every item in the range.

I really like the Wolf range and this is no exception. I notice fromt he other review that the only criticism is that it does not come with a handle. This is right however if you have any other wolf handles the will fit and are interchangable with all the other attachments. I use the telescopic handle with this and can easily pick fruit around 5m+ up. The bag holds a good quatity howeve if on full extension it does get a bit heavy and makes it harder to move the thing around! This is one attachment in a HUGE range of garden tools and it is really worth looking at what else is available, they are expensive to start but once I had the telescopic handle I then added a lopper head, I also use the same handle with a window cleaning head for the conservatory roof....... To me Wolf = Quality.

Really effective. I bought the long pole too and can now reach fruit from the tops of my trees that I previously just had to leave.

It would have been useful to have been advised that I needed to have a pole to go with this. I had to buy the pole from a different source as the one offered by Amazon was very expensive.

Already have several Wolf tools so didn't need the pole - yeah - attachment works well once you've got the hang of hooking onto apples. Recommend this attachment.

This is the first of the Wolf series that I have found disappointing. The cutting blade is very small and difficult to position so that it severs the fruit, but even more of a problem is that it is almost impossible to use where there are clusters of apples. All that happens is that they are dislodged as one attempts to pick them - at least it caused amusement as we avoided the loosened apples as they dropped! If the 'tines' would grip, then that would help, but as it is, we found it rather an expensive plaything, and the bruising of the apples as they fell didn't help either.
We used it on the end of a normal Wolf rake handle and found it difficult to control. I'd think it would be nearly impossible if one used their recommended telescopic handles.
As I said, very disappointing.

I bought it to pick apples, from high branches,You have to insert the apple and yank it to allow apple to fall into bag .unfortunately doing so dislodges a couple from the tree,Not good, also when two or more are in a bunch its difficult to obtain all or just one ,they tend to fall again. If I had tried first I would not have bought this expensive item.I'm tempted to get the window cleaner but on this expiriance I have doubts.

Takes a bit of getting used to but it's very handy at making sure the plums at the top of the tree don't go to waste - also means I don't have to worry about going up a ladder and having it sink into the ground while I'm picking. At first I thought the bag was a bit too small but you soon realise how heavy it gets when stuck on the end of a 4m long pole - it reality it's about the biggest size you can sensibly manage. I haven't weighed it but I'd reckon you can get close to 1Kg of plums in there if you really tried, but you're likely to empty it much sooner than that because it gets quite unwieldy.

I do think that the razor blade for snippig fruit stalks is a bit optimistic - it's only on the one opening so you've got to be super precise and at 4m above your head looking into a bright sky (or the shade of a tree) it's not that easy.

Appalling false advertising - the description says this is a fruit picker to reach high fruit - what is very misleading is that it doesn't come with the pole - no - the pole is 3 times the cost as the basket thing!!!!! It should be advertised as just the basket - I bought this as a present for my elderly Mother and was horrified to discover it is certainly not what it says on the tin. I feel very ripped off indeed.
