I wasn't sure that I needed yet another book on unusual edibles, but I'm very glad I got this because it contains information that's new to me, and confirmed information that I have read elsewhere. Long term, this book will help to define what I plant in my next garden. (My current garden is small and stuffed.)
It's just lovely.
Whatever your interest; whether it be kitchen, garden, or countryside, there is something for everyone..The information and accompanying illustrations make these books both an excellent source of reference and a good read. They will certainly make you look at your garden and the countryside in a new light.
I've lost track of how many times I've heard my wife saying....I didn't know that......did you know that......we must try that recipe!. It looks as if we have some interesting meals ahead, including Hostas, which we have lots of in our garden.
