I am completely addicted to this book, it is amazing!!! Never before have i read something so uniquely brilliant. This is a book that you will never find anything else like it, the ideas and characters in it really are so different and i can't wait to read more of this series, i was blown away!

I adored the storyline to this book, it hooks you from the first page. One of the things that i loved about this book is seeing ADHD from the person's point of view. In my opinion a lot of people still don't understand ADHD and having the limelight on it in a novel helps people to understand it a bit more and that can only be a good thing, as someone who lives with a person with ADHD i can only applaud the decision to put this into the book. There are so many twists and turns in this book, it keeps your pulse hammering the whole way through and you can't stop reading as there is a need to know what is going to happen next. The way that this author writes this book is breathtaking, you are pulled into a world of fantasy with danger around every corner, you are drawn in so much that you feel part of this world and feel everything along with the characters!

I loved Rysa and Ladon’s characters. They are two people that are so different but complement each others personalities so well. Rysa has been through so much throughout this book but she still stays strong and still stays true to who she is, she is filled with so much compassion and thoughts of safety for those that she cares about, she really is an awesome character to read about! Ladon is equally amazing character to read about. He protects those that he cares about fiercely and when he opens his heart, he loves passionately! He has many things that he regrets about his past but he lives every day trying to make amends to be a better man. Now i have to mention dragon, there is something that draws you to read about him, he feels like no other….powerful, compassionate and protective!!!

I can't even explain how amazing this book is and how i can't recommend it highly enough!! Pick up this book and you will not be able to put it down, a major page turner for anyone who reads this!!!!

There is a good story in here, which is the reason I finished this book. Unfortunately, it is buried by the writing style which is disjointed and confused. Maybe the author is trying to show the effects of the main characters ADHD or her confusion about her new abilities. However it disrupted the story making it hard to figure out what exactly was going on. Which is a pity because the story in the book is very good.

I received this book to give an honest review.
I wanted to give this book a try as it sounded like it was going to be really good. Though it took me a lot longer to read than it really should have. Rysa has ADHD and I have never read a story before that has a character with anything like that. I wanted to see what was going to happen.
We go a few pages into the story and then bam all of a sudden Rysa is thrown into a world of being captured and having some kind of powers but she has no clue what is going on. As time goes on she learns she is a Fate and the visions she is getting will end the world. This terrifies her as she doesn't want to hurt anyone.
Then in comes Ladon and his dragon who end up vowing to protect Rysa no matter the cost. As the story progresses we see exactly how good of a guy Ladon is truly and that he has feelings for Rysa.
It is a battle to help Rysa through her visions and to find a way to change the course of destruction she is seeing.
When everything comes together towards the end we learn that Rysa is more than just a Fate and she can change the course of how things work out, along with finding love.
I did like how there were different paranormal's within the story. You have burners, shifters, ghouls (which I think they are the same as burners but I could be wrong), dragons, Fates and of course the immortal like Ladon. It was really nice to have a variety within the story so it wasn't just about one paranormal creature. I did like how everything started to come together towards the end and it started to all make sense. Why Rysa became active, why the War Babies played a big part, and why now Rysa is being hunted.
Now I gave this book 3 stars because it was hard to keep my attention with the book. When Rysa would get visions I think the author could have used a different font to let us know. Since at times it was hard to tell she was in the middle of a vision unless Ladon told us.
Her friend that was with her in the beginning. She doesn't even call him to let him know hey I am alive don't worry about me. It was like he literally fell off the face of the earth.
Overall for me it was an okay read. I like Ladon as a character and how he was really into saving Rysa and having faith within herself. Rysa as a character was good just a lot of thoughts running through her head lol. Which is to be expected.
If you like the paranormal, some action, a bit of romance give this book a try.
