This is the first book I've read from kyra Lennon, and after Game on, I will be reading more. The story was great with two wilful characters, who were both stubborn, who had their flaws, but had a connection from the start. Having it set in both US and UK was a real treat, and as one who loves a HEA, I wasn't disappointed. Advice to potential readers, buy it!!

Well your supposed to be to truthful in these review things,so here goes.
For an author i had never even heard of a fortnight ago let alone even think about reading books like she writes(as i'm not into those sort of books),did i get a SHOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will admit it hands down this book was read in two days if that. I just could not put it down.
I just loved the way Leah and Radleigh are so much alike that they can't say how much they feel for one another till the very end.
The story tells itself i found myself talking to the book telling Leah not to go with Miguel to wait and see if Radleigh would change, that's how much i was dragged into the book.
This is deffinately a book i am glad i won in a competition otherwise i would never of discovered Kyra Lennon or her books,
Well i'm already reading book 2-Blindsided.

Well I was lucky enough to get this copy free and to be honest I would have been happy to have purchased it. I loved the fact there was a Brit and an American relationship here set in America. I really loved the way the relationship developed between our boy and girl. He was a pain in the proverbial and I so wanted to kick him in the shin. I loved the way she tried not to let him wind her up but he was good at it. I know the American's call it soccer but it really is football!! A good read and I look forward to book 2 which I have already downloaded.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

First off, I loved this book so much! I haven't read a book quite like this before and I don't think I will again. Kyra has such a wonderful writing style and technique that I could help but read the whole book in one session. Kyra made sure that the reader was engaged in the story and felt all the emotions each character felt. I loved Leah and Radleigh, especially the arguments.
The story was a beautiful plot of going from a hate relationship to a love one. Most of the time you hate someone for a reason that could be a reason they're Portraying and isn't the real them. Radleigh was a perfect example of this and I could help but love him whilst wanting to smack him. Being an athlete can come with a lot of stress, a big plot line but I'm not ruining it, and it can be hard to see the truth in all the fiction. Leah was that reality Radleigh was seeking and yet you couldn't help but be frustrated at his stubbornness. His backstory is stunning and there were times when I thought he was guilty and was proven wrong. (Thankfully)
Leah is a beautifully strong young woman who moved to LA to escape the past and ended up working as a physiotherapist to Raeleighs team. I loved the dynamic you got to view between Leah and her colleagues/friends, but also her relationship with all the members of the team. You can understand all the frustration you red about, as Radleigh seemed to treat her like an easy 'target', but oh how wrong he was. You get to know Leah and fall in love with her work attitude, her morals and her all round caring nature. As so would any man, Radleigh likes to push her buttons and get a rise out of her, but some of the scenes between them broke me heart as I couldn't help but think that they'd be perfect together.

I must have read this book at least 50 times, as I critiqued it for Kyra, and it hasn't lost it's magic. In fact, with each new read, I pick up on a detail I've missed, or find an new dimension to a character.

Leah is a compelling protagonist. Witty, friendly, genuine and most importantly flawed. It would be so easy to make her the perfect woman, but Kyra didn't, Leah is entirely human, believable and relatable.

Radleigh McCoy is the bad boy every woman wants to tame, but once you scratch the surface, you discover he's a deep guy full of human intricacies. Finding out what makes him tick is almost as intriguing as discovering if he and Leah get together or not.

Supporting Leah and Radleigh, are a background cast of wonderfully real secondary characters, all of whom could easily walk right into everyday life, and each add something special to the story.

Game On is a moving, emotional, very real contemporary romance filled with fun, friendship, laughter, and a look on the human condition. Discovering why these characters act the way they do is an incredible part of the journey.

There's twists and turns throughout that will leave you guessing where Leah and Radleigh will end up, but an ending that leaves you completely satisfied.

One of the best contemporary romances I've read in years, and a story I could read over and over again.

This is a great book and a fantastic read - the story between the two main characters, Radleigh and Leah, is full of more twists and turns than the average romance, and keeps you guessing. There's a great supporting cast - who wouldn't love a best friend like Freya, or bubbly distraction like Bree?

It's a fun enjoyable book - great for rainy days when there's a box of chocolates and a glass of wine at your side.
