Well where to start this story has kept me on my kindle for most of time. And what a story it has kept me enthralled all the way to from start to end. I just couldnt put it down. I am going to keep an eye out for this Writer in the future as I want more stories from him. Keep up the good work Mr Umstead.

I found this book after the Author Steve Umstead started following me on twitter and I politely followed back. I imagine he targeted me in some way due my embarrassingly frequent star Trek or Dr Who references! He made me aware of his work through subtle(?) price drop notifications so I thought I may as well read the free kindle sample with the intention, if I liked it, to buy and save the trilogy for my holiday reading material next month. Well, I liked it a lot, bought the completed works and resisted continuing reading it for approximately 36 hours; then I broke. Book 1 turned into book 2, book 3 and the bonus prequel as the house fell into disarray around me! It was a 'page turner' from start to finish. I like science fiction but I'm not terribly interested in the details of technology, real or imagined, but Mr Umstead seems to have got the level of such details just about right to satisfy the technophiles without obscuring a cracking story. In summary, read the sample and you will soon know if it is for you. Meanwhile I need something else to read for my holiday! Steve?

Been following this guy on twitter so i decided to give his books a whirl
and i wasn't disappointed.
Gabriel has a past that haunts him. An easy mission gone wrong?
Now he's been re-enlisted/press ganged into service for one last job.
3 books and 3 nonstop missions that only gives him a 6 month break after the 1st mission.
He has new troops under his command can he trust them or not,is there a spy.Danger and treachery at
every turn. Who can he trust ?
Then you have to get a hold of Zero point.
If it was turned into a mini series or 2 films i would be first inline and buy the dvds.
Nuff said get the book and start reading grunts :)

A fantastic page turning, action adventure.

A man, driven haunted by his past and uncertain about the future is thrust headlong into a whirlwind of danger, every twist revealing a little more, both to himself and the reader.

Well structured with excellent battle sequences, download it, order the book, it'll have you hooked.
