As soon as the RAM arrived, I could already see that it was of good quality. When I placed it in my pc it ran very well and smoothly. I have to say that this RAM is a must buy, because for any of you buying a huge processor Heatsink/cooler, this will give space for it to spread on the motherboard, because it hasn't got huge heatsinks on the top of it (which ram dosent really need anyway).

Over all Good product, great service from amazon, fast and cheap delivery!

Excellent RAM, made even better by the fact that you can run it on my AMD - based Crosshair IV Formula motherboard!! Certainly recommend this RAM for anyone thinking of upgrading their systems. This RAM also great for overclocking, and with the right software is surprisingly easy (just be careful!)!

I bought this ram back in April of 2013 at a cracking price with basically a whole new PC build!

It performed flawlessly in my system until around November of 2013 when I started to get the odd BSOD. I honestly thought it wad my SDD drive though, as this was a new addition to my system?

I did a couple of tests on my system but never suspected it would be the RAM. I have never had problems with RAM. Much to my surprise, RAM testing software tested one stick as faulty. I was a bit surprised to be honest because I have never OC'd (Over Clocked) my system which can damage RAM due to the extra volts. It just seemed to develop a fault over time I guess?

I sent the back using G-Skill's RMA service which meant I had to send them to Holland for testing. It cost around £15 to send them back and about two weeks wait. They sent a new pair, no questions asked but I was still not happy about the cost incurred and the headache I had with my system!

Still, these things happen..

The new pair of sticks tested okay as soon as I installed them and have been fine so far (fingers crossed).

If one day you do start getting random BSOD, just remember that you read this and run a quick "MemTest", just to be sure..

This memory is quality and quick and fairly priced. However, I give caution to anyone thinking of purchasing a set, I bought two sets and 2 out of the 4 module immediately failed. On a positive note Amazon did replace these very quickly. Had all 4 modules initially worked, I would have rated this product 5 Stars. Well packaged, fast delivery.

This was a direct match to the memory I installed years ago and works perfectly with my Asus P8Z68-V motherboard. It's running on a Windows 10 Pro rig (it didn't affect activation) and was brought to double the amount of ram in order to use a Windows 7 virtual machine with a healthy amount of memory. It doesn't seem to have any other benefits for the system so I've allocated it dynamically as a ramdisk, using the excellent Imdisk. I also ran the Windows memory tool and that came back clear. The original G-Skills never gave any problems and these modules are off to a good start.

I recently built my first computer using the G.Skill DDR3 2x4GB sticks along side my other components, which are as follows:

ASRock Z87 Extreme4
Intel i5-4670K
Gigabyte Windforce OC GTX 770 2GB
Samsung 840 Evo 120GB
WD Blue 1TB
Fractal Design Define R4
Corsair AX760
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Windows 7 HP

I have had zero problems installing the RAM and do not have any clearance issues. They do not overheat, can be overclocked if I increased the airflow in my computer, and look sharp. I would happily buy them again. In fact, when games begin demanding more than 8GB of RAM, I might just invest in two more 4GB sticks and run them in a four-way set-up. I haven't checked for clearance, but if they won't fit then I'll sell these or keep them as spare and invest in the 2x8GB versions. 1600Mhz is all I need for gaming and media browsing. I do write a lot of music, but I do not use any intensive software. For now, 1600Mhz DDR3 8GB RAM is all I need. I would have no qualms recommending this RAM to others.

Bought this for a new build just over a year ago, it arrived well packaged and was exactly as described. The picture doesn't really do the RAM justice, it looks really good!

G.Skill are a very reputable brand and I would definitely recommend this product!

Bought these to upgrade 8GB to 16GB. I had these originally with my system 4 years back so bought the exact same so there would not be any DRAM timing or memory issues. Back in 2012 8GB cost me £43. Today it was £32. Can't complain about that! Inserted into the ASUS Crosshair IV Mobo and ran a memtest86 on it for a few hours. Perfect.
