This textbook contains solid theory and has been written with the undergraduate Corporate Finance student in mind. It is not just a shorter version or a cut and paste of Brealey/Myers: Principles of Corporate Finance.
A great deal of attention has been paid to the problem sets differentiating them as easy, medium, or difficult.
Excel boxes will appear to illustrate key points in the text.
This edition will include a new glossary on business slang terms.
Integrative Mini-Cases are short vignettes that are included in a number of chapters.
Current Event boxes, found in nearly every chapter, are excerpts from the popular press including the Wall Street Journal and the Economist. Students and instructors have found these boxes both informative and relevant.
Calculator boxes and exercises are included in appropriate chapters to help students understand how to solve problems using financial calculators.
More end-of-chapter problems, over 750 in total, with subject labels are included.
Financial Analysis Spreadsheet Templates (F.A.S.T.) software is available free and linked to 100 end-of-chapter problems. These Windows'based Excel templates can be used to facilitate financial calculations for students.
An expanded discussion of ethical issues facing financial managers is included. Reviewers have told us this is becoming an ever-increasing important issue in Finance. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

However, when exam time came this book was extremely helpful, and i can easily say i would NOT have passed without it! :)
The language is simple and easy to read, and explains difficult concepts in an easy to understand manner.
There are lots of sample questions to try for yourself, so you can see how your getting on and they are very similar to the type of questions i had in the exam.
Well worth a read through - but sorry - there arnt many pictures!! :)
Overall a well written, comprehensive textbook and I would definitely recommend it to any finance-phobes out there!
