game.co.uk is offering for £29.99 . and with your points and cards you can get it really low. and beta access. The whole point to preorder at amazon is the lower price guarantee. but with a full RPP now? see u later.

It's not a good price on the face of it. Mind you, when I preordered Diablo III on Amazon, it went up a fair bit elsewhere before release but Amazon honoured the original price. Discount would be nice though. Mmn, how many nectar poits have I got?

I don't understand regional pricing! This is on the Amazon US site for $39.99, which is around the £25 mark. £32 is almost price of a full blown game, not an expansion pack.

I'd agree it's expensive, I don't think I've paid anything more than £23 or so for a new release on PC this year including games like XCOM and Dishonored. Having said that I played WoL for hundreds of hours so it's still great value for me.

You can't compare the UK and US prices directly either, you need to add on 20% VAT before doing the comparison. Still slightly more expensive but not massively so.

You do know if you pre-order the game you get the cheapest price that it drops to before the game comes out? You get refunded the difference after release date...

Oh, I know. It did that with Diablo III. Long since pre-ordered. I wouldn't be chipping in to this if I wasn't a SC obsessive :)

Odd tho. Diablo III is cheaper here than on Blizzard's download. I wanted to pick up a 2nd copy so Daughter One and I can play 2 player, but I'll wait until the price drops a bit.

I purchased the digital version, couldn't be bothered with delivery times and such trivial matters. It's only worth the money spent if you know you're going to compete on the ladder after the campaign is finished.
