I've been fortunate to meet a fair few celebrities in my time, and I can honestly say that David Hamilton, broadcaster, is a big favourite. I say big... Despite a glittering career, he remains totally approachable, down-to-earth, decent, normal and endearing. He's also terrific fun with a wonderful sense of humour and love of life. This book contains many of David's hilarious anecdotes while discussing one of the great passions of his life, Fulham FC, for whom he has long been match-day MC at Craven Cottage. You certainly don't need to be a Fulham fan to enjoy this book, but even if you weren't a Diddy David fan before you will be after reading it. And read it you must!

This wonderfully enjoyable book is a funny, touching and insightful summary of David Hamilton's connection with Fulham Football Club.

Commencing with the quirk of fate that saw David become a Fulham supporter, through his time as a Director of the club, the legends that have played for the Whites and the myriad ups and downs, right up to the present day. The book also provides the inside-track on his infamous, shabbily handled, 'sacking', plus his rather unconventional re-instatement!

Not only is 'A Fulhamish Tale' beautifully produced by Ashwater Press, with huge numbers of fantastic photographs, it is first, and foremost a hugely entertaining read from cover to cover, as you would expect from a broadcasting legend!

This is a tale that matches my own life, a long time supporter of Fulham FC through all its delights and agonies. David Hamilton writes well and with affection about a football club which can claim to be special. A host of illustrations help the telling. For once, this is an unalloyed Fulham triumph!

This book was a Birthday present for my husband (a big Fulham fan for his sins) and he was so delighted when he unwrapped it. It was just what he was expecting a great book by another true Fulham fan.
