I recieved this laptop for my university studies about three years ago and it was fine for just using microsoft word and browsing the internet but it could be fairly slow and was not really very good at playing videos or dvds. It (luckily) lasted the 3 year undergraduate course but has now stopped working and I am selling the parts off, as it is not worth getting it repaired. A very basic laptop with low RAM but good for a starter laptop or younger person.

I received this laptop as a replacement through my insurance company over 3 months ago. I needed it to design websites & graphic design so it needed to be powerful enough to run multiple programs at once such as Dreamweaver, Fireworks, flash & FTP which it manages to run simultaneously with no problem, it does slow slightly when using multiple large images in Flash or Fireworks but this can be easily rectified with the addition of more memory at a minimum cost(if needed but isn't essential).

It has 2 USB ports mounted to the right side of the keyboard which are well placed & easy to access, the wireless connection works well, and it has a set of shortcut keys to access Internet Explorer, Outlook, Wireless connection etc across the top of the keyboard which are useful.

The overall build quality of the laptop is good, the casing and keyboard are still looking as good as new and the screen is of good quality.
The only negative point I can think of would be that the charge socket, the Network cable socket & the USB points are all quite close together and can be a little fiddly if all in use at once but I wouldn't let this put anyone off.
Its a good value well made Laptop that should suit most users.
