Product Description

Review

'We have a book on Knowledge Management that offers substance, depths, and rich insights. New Frontiers of Knowledge Management brings together renowned academicians and practitioners for the purpose of debating the future of this very important field. Each chapter discusses critical areas for current research and development, and avenues for future research exploration. This book offers new insights for scholars, practitioners, and students into the area of management, information systems, and last but definitely not the least, knowledge management.' - Dr. Claudia Loebbecke, Chair of Media Management, University of Cologne, and President-Elect, Association for Information Systems

'The field of knowledge management is fairly new but an exciting one, growing by leaps and bounds. New techniques and methodologies are constantly being considered, and this book looks at some of the exciting challenges and frontiers for further work. Each chapter describes an important ingredient of current issues and future challenges of knowledge management agendas. The book is a collection of writing on some thought provocative topics. All in all, this book presents a solid reading of the frontiers of knowledge management, and should be read by scholars and practitioners alike.' - Dr. Donald H. Kraft, Professor, Department of Computer Science, Louisiana State University, USA; Editor, Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology; Past President, American Society for Information Science and Technology

'For those who feel that the field of Knowledge Management is mined out, this book will amply demonstrate that the field is extremely active with no lack of creative and insightful researchers eager to explore new directions.' - Anthony Wensley, Associate Professor of Information Systems and Accounting, The J.L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, USA
