5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant, informative, and good recipes! 11 Aug. 2012
By Hull, England - Published on Amazon.com
It was interesting to see a little history of tea, where it's from, proper brewing techniques...
The recipes look interesting, and quite easy and straightforward as well. Some traditional and some not so... I'll be making Monkey Balls this coming weekend!

A lovely, charming and delightful book that touches on the history of afternoon tea, how to make a proper cup of tea, and the foods served with afternoon tea. The recipes look delicious...I can't wait to try some!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great info, tasty recipes! 12 Aug. 2012

Beautiful pictures and facinating information on the history of tea and how to brew a proper cup. All of the recipes look both elegant and easy to prepare!
3.0 out of 5 stars Where's the Raisins and Blueberries???? 28 Jan. 2013

Can't attest to the voracity of any of these recipes because upon first flip-through I noticed that the Raisin scones have no raisins and the Blueberry scones have no blueberries (I guess they really are just "mom's scones." So I wouldn't use any of these recipes if my life depended on them being good (like for company). Too bad it wasn't better proofed, it's fairly well designed.
5.0 out of 5 stars When's the last time you hosted an afternoon tea party? 27 Sept. 2012
By Brad - Published on Amazon.com
Get the book, learn some really interesting things about tea, and serve some of your dearest friends Rose Petal Jam, and single-handedly revive the art of entertaining. There are some really unique recipes here!
